Then one chooses to upgrade and then, my friends, your are stuck FOR EVER! It is called a “GOOGLEONIAN” maneuver to keep all the “sheeps” from running wild because the sheeps don’t like to be kept in the corrall. Otherwise great app! ### 1/5 — Very Awful Experience *2021-03-26, version 2.0.9* I tried to contact the Hidden Team via email in order to get my refund, but they didn’t respond. I just don’t want to pay for an APP that I won’t use for the following whole year. Don’t pay for this APP, folks! It is not worthy. The tracking is great but it destroys usability. When my phone was stolen, I immediately turned on the app and reported it “stolen”. When I toggled the “tracking” or “send pictures “ I never received anything. While I have received tracking info from Apple, Hidden couldn’t do anything. I also tried to downgrade my service but wasn’t able to. This is a complete disaster ### 1/5 — DO NOT DOWNLOAD AND SUBSCRIBE *2019-08-13, version 1.8* I recently misplaced my cell phone but it wasn’t this app that found it for me. It was a nice employee at a hotel I was staying at since the desktop application kept saying “No location for my cell phone”. The data as it is supposed to never arrived and I couldn’t locate it. Customer service asked me to update the app once I found the phone but low and behold, my app was up to date. I am now testing to see if it works and so far nothing. I have been paying a subscription for over 5 years and who knows how long this stopped working. I will not be renewing my subscription when it is over. ### 1/5 — Can’t cancel service! *2019-03-10, version 1.7* I guess the service works, I’ve never needed to use it but I want to cancel my subscription and there is no where on the website or app to cancel. I emailed them and they only replied to ask me why I wanted to cancel. They did not confirm cancellation or refund me. I have emailed multiple more times with no reply. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Caution required *2026-02-24, version 2.1.1* I have been using this app for years, or at least, I have been paying for it. Support has never been good, but the app provided that set-it-and-forget-it sense of security. However, for over a year, my account has been showing as expired, with no access via the app or website. I just assumed that I'd forgotten to renew, so I decided not to bother. Imagine my surprise when reviewing my paypal payments (something I clearly don't do often enough), I find that I've been paying a subscription all along. I cancelled future payments and have written to ask for a refund of the latest payment, but I'm not holding my breath. ### 1/5 — Terrible! *2024-01-24, version 2.1.1* This is the worst app I’ve ever seen. I used this app to track my stolen device. And I am able to track my stolen device with the person who stole it silently without even suspicious of any kind of hacking or spying. You keep promoting version 2.0, yet I’m on version 1.9.7, at least according to the app I installed from the App Store. I’m now making the assumption that you maybe forgot to update the version number visually to 2.0 from 1.9.7? I have to assume I’m on the latest version... FYI the link you provide to download 2.0 tales me to the app I currently installed, which appears as 1.9.7. 2. Initial account login doesn’t provide me the ability to choose a password management solution (like 1Password) to enter my credentials, even though once signed in, the secondary sign in does allow it. ### 5/5 — Left my MacBook Pro st airport security *2018-10-22, version 1.7* I was in the Philadelphia airport and forgot my MacBook Pro at security. I had no idea where I left it. Used the app to alert the security to contact me. Was able to get it back with no problems! Driver answered, then hung up and denied it until I told him I was tracking him and displayed a message on screen and sounded alerts. He mysteriously ‘found’ it and it was returned that day. Way better functionality than find my iPhone.
