## What is HideCam?

HideCam helps you make personal photo, video, and audio records in situations you are part of, then stores captures in an encrypted on-device vault.

Set capture mode, lens, quality, framing, blackout display, and automation before you arm. The app includes clear legal and consent reminders and does not claim to hide iOS camera or microphone indicators.

Photos, videos, and audio stay on your device. HideCam has no account, no server, no analytics, and no tracking.
