However, I have run into a problem with it. After I get a notification, I have to be careful to not accidentally enter the compose function. A common occurrence is for me to get a banner notification at the top of the screen, I swipe up to dismiss it and then later I discover the app isn’t working. I open it and see that I have somehow unintentionally entered the compose function, and as a result the app has stopped sending notifications. It would be great that either it is made less likely that I accidentally enter the compose function, or if the app continues to work even though I am in the compose function, or both. Would love to give 5 stars but I just can’t fully rely on the app working 100% no matter what **Developer response:** Thank you so much for this detailed note. And what do you mean by unintentionally entered the compose function (screenshots would be so helpful) let’s get this fixed for you! ### 2/5 — everything deleted *2025-11-02* I had a bunch of old messages on here and a bunch of new ones to come for future days, some months and years from now, and now they’re all suddenly gone. About a week ago I got a notification for one my messages and I opened it and could only see a little of it. I closed the app and reopened it to find absolutely everything gone. I didn’t have an insane amount of messages but definitely quite a few. Some were years old that I left just on there because I didn’t think they would get deleted. Now it’s gone. I admit, this app was good. I liked how it was simple, though I felt it could have had some really cool yet simple features. I just regret not saving everything on something separate. Other than this unfortunate situation, a good app. **Developer response:** Oh that's awful! 2 stars deserved. Sorry this happened! I haven't seen this before. I would love to help, and maybe get those messages back. Since November of last year they are synced to iCloud, so they should be backed up if you've been using the app for a while. Also, if the system crashed for some reason, messages might get moved into the "Delivered" category. Take a look if they're there. So it should take as reference the time that rules online so the letter can’t be tricked. In addition it would be nice if you add an registration in this way if someone deletes the app he don’t lose the messege that’s going to be sent. Just wait for an update! ### 5/5 — ADHD best friend *2024-08-28* I personally need reminders or tasks that will continue to bug me as I tend to dismiss alerts all too easily- but I love this app! Perhaps an addition for a 30 min option for reminders alerts would be excellent! I simply snooze it for the nagging option lol. This definitely helps with my ADHD when I forget things and the snooze work around help when I get too hyper-focused and have to remind myself of how long I’ve been in the zone. I’ve honestly spent days downloading apps with promises to be close to your app feature. But yours is one of the best hands down because it keeps repeating the way I need it to. Your app won the list as well as another called insistent - Out of testing so many apps. Thank you so much! The only suggestions I have are a custom time picker, for example I have a phone plan that renews every 360 days. This would really be appreciated, and more notification sounds, if possible you could choose different sounds for each reminder. Users should be careful not to overuse, or risk becoming dulled to the reminders. With some self discipline, it‘s very effective & useful. Seeing the continued increase in Alzheimer’s, Dementia & general brain fog, the app should thrive, and continue to develop & improve. To that end, I WOULD LOVE SOME NEW ALARM SOUND OPTIONS. I’d even pay for some. The current options (which haven’t changed in the ~couple years I’ve had app) are OK, but I wish there were double/triple the options, so I could set more unique reminders. I also wish I could PASTE PICS/SCREENSHOTS into the reminder text, so I could just use an image as a reminder, vs having to input the reminder through text only, which takes much longer. I use emojis to compensate, but those take longer than pics would too, and are limited. 75% perfect app, 25% room for improvement. Having said all that, this IS a FREE app, and maybe other paid reminder apps already have what I long for. **Developer response:** Thank you for the review! However, I was trying to think of other ways to use this app, and the first thing that came to my mind was a reminder to take the recycling out every other week. Unless I’m mistaken, I don’t see an option to set reminders over a custom set of time. In this instance, it would be biweekly. So every 14 days. I have zero expectations that something like this will be added, but just wanted to suggest it in case the developer is reading this and thinks it’s a good idea. With this app I can set looped reminders and set multiple reminders whenever needed. It’s simple to use and I like how it appears as a text and you have to click on it to complete it. My life kind of depends on the app now so I hope the developer keeps up the great support. Update after 2 years: I’m still using the app, the developer even added a useful tool that makes setting a time for the notification even easier, without overloading the app at all. Terrific for making sure you don't miss appointments or whatever, if you're not someone who looks at a calendar every day. Even cooler: I wasn't entirely content with the date selection wheels, and mentioned in a review that a calendar selection option would be helpful for setting a reminder for, like, months from now. The developer FIXED IT!! It's way easier to set a future date/time now. I'm really tickled. Just grab this. You won't regret it. Update: Pretty sure I wrote this review years ago.
