Definitely better than the preinstalled app. Let’s you set a reminder much more easier and instead of a to do list, you get a timed notification, which is exactly what I wanted! My life kind of depends on the app now so I hope the developer keeps up the great support.
Update after 2 years: I’m still using the app, the developer even added a useful tool that makes setting a time for the notification even easier, without overloading the app at all. This is literally the best app. Thanks to the developer, keep it up!

I use this all the time. It’s super easy to set daily reminders, one time reminders, etc. I’m rather absent minded, so being able to remind myself in the morning of something I think of late at night as easily as shooting a text is very helpful.
I like how the extra features are implemented. If you don’t need the excellent side features this app provides they really don’t clutter up the app or get in your way.
Everything(that I use regularly on this app) is clean and simple. Highly recommend this even over other built in reminder apps.

Seriously helpful app
This is one I've used for years. Terrific for making sure you don't miss appointments or whatever, if you're not someone who looks at a calendar every day. Even cooler: I wasn't entirely content with the date selection wheels, and mentioned in a review that a calendar selection option would be helpful for setting a reminder for, like, months from now. The developer FIXED IT!! It's way easier to set a future date/time now. I'm really tickled.
Just grab this. You won't regret it.

Thank you so much for using HiFutureSelf! This was really great feedback. As of version 2.5.0 you can now use the calendar selector in addition to the wheel. Just tap the selected blue clock icon, and the calendar will appear. Make sure to update to the latest version in the App Store. If it works for you, please update this review! It would help a ton!
