## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Cheap, useless App

*2015-05-12*

Entertaining for about an hour, then you run out of information.

**Developer response:** Since the project is back to life we've added thousands of articles in some couple of dozens of dialects to the app but we're not making it expensive.

### 2/5 — Incomplete dictionary

*2016-02-25*

Great format and easy to use but it's incomplete. I feel cheated paying for a translator dictionary that is missing word. Until the dictionary is complete they need to release a free version of this with banner ads.

**Developer response:** Since the project is back to life much has been done to achieve the completeness of the dictionary and much remains to be done. We hope you are satisfied by latest updates. The upcoming updates will contain even more data on all known elvish dialects of Arda. If you remain dissatisfied with the absence of specific term or whichever group of terms, please feel free to advise and we’ll be glad to fulfill whatever is missing as it is in our best interest.

### 3/5 — Ok but more can be done

*2015-04-18*

This is a great dictionary, but it could be improved. The improvements could be adding a voice pronunciation to pronounce all the words in English and High Elvish. Also there should be a clearer viewing to see what English words translate to in High Elvish and vice versa. I like this app, but it needs more.

### 4/5 — Like it, but….

*2024-10-01*

The Tengwar is way too small to see. I would like it if the Tengwar was in the body of the cards so I could see them better in bigger fonts

**Developer response:** Thank you for taking time to give us your feedback. Version 1.0.56 is now on its way to distribution including spelling section with larger fonts and also the support for Beleriand mode.

### 4/5 — Hantalye!

*2014-08-17*

Canta eleni!

### 4/5 — Wonderful!

*2014-05-22*

It's an awesome Elvish dictionary (from Elvish to English) just wish there was also the reverse.

### 4/5 — Amazing!!!! 😊

*2014-03-31*

This app is awesome it is a complete elvish dictionary. I really enjoy it. My only issue is that you cant save the words you want to remember.

### 5/5 — Incredible

*2026-03-24*

Could not be more pleased

### 5/5 — Useful dictionary

*2025-01-24*

This dictionary is actually really good, and includes translations to and from English and several elvish dialects.

### 5/5 — Great Quenya recourse

*2015-06-17*

The language here is Quenya, one of J.R.R. Tolkien's elven languages. This app provides a complete, searchable wordlist.

## Most praised reviews (3 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — 엡이 자꾸 죽어요ㅠ

*2014-10-16*

앱 잘 쓰고있어요!
검색부분에 타자를 치면 옆에 자동으로 번역(?)해주는게 참 맘에들어요.
하지만 최근들어서 앱이 자꾸 죽네요ㅠ 불안정해진 것 같습니다.

### 5/5 — Perfect.

*2014-06-21*

This dictionary is in incredibly thorough. You can now select English to elvish or vise versa, unlike before when it was just elvish to English. I can't think of anything that could make this better other than your own personal translator to follow you around. But in all seriousness... This app is amazing and should be recognized as such

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for your heart warming words. Recognitions like this make it easier for us to input more efforts in this project for lovers of Elvish languages.

### 5/5 — Fantastic

*2014-05-30*

I really like the new update, before it was guess work to find the word you needed. Now it's easy to find and use. Utterly fantastic app.
