High roll glyph is just fundamentally better. It’s a longer game (but you can pause anytime), but since you’re in charge of rolling and selecting the letters, you have more ownership and input. The NYT games are set, and you can complete them. With high roll glyph, you are the designer AND the solver at the same time.
