Very frustrating especially just before Xmas. The actual internet quality is phenomenal but the app needs to be updated possibly ### 2/5 — Fix? *2025-02-14* App is unable to load for days now. No update. Deleted and reinstalled. I pay my bill here. Then there’s this app. Never ever functions properly, always crashes and constantly slow. The new version is way worse than the old version. The app was slow before, now it hardly functions. The new update removed all of my settings and the app has completely forgotten my hardware. Does not load properly and crashes on my iPhone 14 every single time I try to use it after 10-15 seconds. It was never great before but now it’s unusable. Also- I have a GE lightbulb that needs connecting to the internet for some reason; and when I try to use the option to block it from connecting to the internet in the app, it just says “Online-Paused” and proceeds to upload 600kbs/hr of random data for some unholy reason. However, any other device I have no problem getting to shut off from my internet connection. TV? “Offline.” PC? “Offline.” Lightbulb? Can only get it to “pause.” Now the app is dysfunctional and my internet is unstable. Garbage! I wish a single ISP ever just worked without gouging your eyes out with prices. ### 1/5 — Not so happy *2024-03-31* The hype of Highline is not so fast. The speed says it’s fast but it is slow. For a tech company I feel the app could be better. My nighthawk router was way better as far as keeping eye on things. Speeds are better than what we had also a lot more than what we paid, but still not what they told us we’d get. We use to use Verizon for our Internet service and it was terrible and we couldn’t have a ring doorbell or a printer that was online. Last night I got to hook up a brand new printer that I can print off of my iPhone. We kept our old landline phone number and now through Highline we get text messages wherever we get a call on that line. The other day when Verizon went down, we were still able to call out on our Highline telephone. ### 5/5 — User *2024-08-10* Highline internet is the best internet do far! Great customer support! I’m rural & enjoying 1G/mo for $99. The service was installed within about two weeks. They use a very high tech device for sewing your fiber optic into the ground. Let your kids watch the installation from a distance. I go to school online and stream movies at night. I’ve only had one interruption of service. The app is also very clean, simple & intuitive to use. Currently getting 942 mbps up and down with 13 ms of latency. Thank you so much for building this infrastructure. I now get to live in my dream home with the ability to reliably work from home. Dream come true! Shout to the Justin, the Hooten family and all on the customer service team.
