I just have some suggestions on how it can be made even better, for improved quality of life, visuals and customization. I’ve organized them in order of importance, according to what I believe would be best in the game: [IMPORTANT] Please replace the steering sensitivity slider with a linearity slider and a real sensitivity slider; the linearity would control the curve of the input translation to in-game steering; it would work similar to the current sensitivity setting. The sensitivity slider, on the other hand, would control the slope of the steering input translation, controlling how a certain amount of input would translate to steering in-game. This would make it much easier to tune these settings, and would make the steering feel much better. Adding a dead zone for non-button-based steering would also help for gameplay on a bus, plane or something similar. [HIGHLY RECOMMENDED] Please add a reflection quality slider; I’ve noticed that the current reflections look great for the rear view mirrors, but the hood, window and windshield reflections are fairly low-quality. I’d really like to have a slider that allows me to tune the reflections, with the lowest setting using the current reflections (which I believe are baked), and all other settings using higher and higher quality screen space reflections. [HIGHLY RECOMMENDED] Please add a motion blur intensity slider. Should be fairly self-explanatory; 0 is off, 0.5 is the current level of motion blur, and 1 is whatever you deem to be a reasonable maximum, with the slider having a step value of 0.1. [RECOMMENDED] Please add a sub-menu to the Shadow setting; players can either use the Shadow setting to select from preset quality levels, or they should be able to individually tune Shadow Map Resolution, Lighting Type (Screen Space, Volumetric or Both), Lighting Quality, Godray Quality, Ambient Occlusion Type, and Ambient Occlusion Intensity. [RECOMMENDED] Please add sliders for anti-aliasing type, anti-aliasing quality and anti-aliasing intensity, so people can tune them more finely; include a slider that automatically adjusts all of them for those that don’t want to tune them manually. [NICE TO HAVE] Please add options to manually tune post-processing, with a default preset, and options that control the following: exposure, gamma (midtones), shadows, contrast, saturation, color grading, bloom intensity, bloom curve, lens flare, lens glare and vignetting. This would allow people to tune the game to look however they wanted, allowing for much more variation in the way the game looks, and improved visual flexibility for those who want to tune these settings (like myself). All in all, I love this game. My primary issue with it is the steering; if not for that issue, I’d be playing it a lot more than I do now. Other than that, I’d love to see some or possibly all the things that I mentioned above appear in the game. But if you want to play more than a demo’s worth of time be prepared to pay a minimum $50. Yeah yeah “that’s how the devs get their support” I promise you it doesn’t have to be quite to this extent. Have fun riding in just a d car for an hour before you physically can’t compete.
