While the app does do that, I was expecting “live” weather and map updates. As a result, I contacted Support asking for my subscription to be canceled. In approximately 12 hours, I received a reply from the developer who very politely told me how to cancel the subscription. I almost felt guilty canceling the subscription because this developer obviously cared foremost about customer care rather than his own pocketbook, and that really impressed me. Les développeurs n’ont pas la possibilité de supprimer les avis des utilisateurs sur l’App Store, seul Apple peut le faire lorsqu’il est considéré que l’avis n’est pas pertinent et qu’il partage de fausses informations. Ma réponse a elle aussi été supprimée. Je réitère ma précédente réponse : mon application est gratuite sur l’App Store mais il n’est jamais précisé qu’elle est complètement gratuite. Chaque utilisateur a la possibilité de tester l’application gratuitement avec un trajet offert, et un essai gratuit de quelques jours afin de se faire un avis. Des trajets aléatoires sont aussi disponibles afin de tester l’ensemble des fonctionnalités. L’achat n’est en aucun cas obligatoire pour tester l’application. Cela permet à chaque utilisateur de savoir si l’application leur convient et auquel cas de s’abonner. L’abonnement permet de couvrir les frais de développement de l’application ainsi que l’accès aux données météo.
