So far they are fine. What is really frustrating is that all calls save on the native phone under recents even when this feature is switched off on the app. I have to make sure I delete my recents on the native phone just to clear all the work numbers called. If you are going to have a feature to turn off save to native phone. Please make sure it actually works before you roll it out. ### 2/5 — Good feature, needs tweeks *2025-08-25, version 7.4.0* Great idea, but need to be able to see if a call has been answered or actually missed on the other hihi devices. Goes offline from time to time, so I’m not confident that I am getting all calls. It means you can receive your calls from anywhere. However I’ve list count of the countless times that on answering the phone with my mobile I couldn’t hear their other person and vice versa. You have to switch your phone on and off to fix this until it happens again. That’s not good enough for a business app. I hope the last update has fixed this ### 2/5 — Poor bluetooth connectivity *2025-03-20, version 7.2.0* New update doesn’t work well with bluetooth head sets. I used the app with my Sony headphones and iPhone 15 for some months before running the latest update - now it connects to the device, but delivers no sound. ### 2/5 — Caller names don’t show *2025-02-05, version 7.1.0* Caller names don’t show which is really unhelpful ### 2/5 — Poor *2024-10-17* If you’re reading this review then it’s probably too late but the app is useless. If you trying to use remotely if you are away from the base station. You either miss a call altogether or when you do answer you can’t hear the caller. You will then need to remove the app altogether and re-install. This solves the problem for a few hours before you need to do the same again. “4 coms” solution is to offer the upgraded phones on a “new” contract at an exorbitant price over 7 years. By the way, you can’t use the app if you have Apple car play installed. They clash **Developer response:** Hi, I am sorry you have experienced issues. I read through the case notes. It would be a good idea for us to capture some logs to see what is happening with your device. I know you have an older phone model however we believe this version should be ok. It should not be necessary to download the app like you are doing. Avoid them, don’t let them sign you into their 7 year contracts ### 1/5 — New update has broken some things *2024-02-26, version 6.5.0* Was fine before the latest update, now it automatically goes into a video call, which can’t be changed, so I can no longer update my no answer greeting. ### 3/5 — Recent Call List Frustration *2023-11-08, version 6.4.1* The most frustrating thing about the app is that it collates your calls from the app and your personal calls from your mobile together in to your recent calls list. So I have reams of office calls to every department on my personal recent calls list - a feature I often use when driving as I have a small list of regular contacts I use which is easy to operate. Now my recent calls are flooded with useless numbers I don’t intend calling back. Can they not be separated or omitted from the device recent calls list? ### 1/5 — Truly terrible *2023-09-21, version 6.3.0* I didn’t think it would be possible for this app to be worse than their telephony kit, but I was wrong. It makes so many phantom calls that it’s impossible to connect your smart phone to any Bluetooth headphones & car kits etc and actually be able to listen to anything. It doesn’t actually call anyone, it just causes these devices to think a call is in progress so it should mute the music. For example, I can’t paste numbers into the app to dial them. Small things like that to integrate better with a mobile device will make it so much easier to use. ### 4/5 — Okay but.. *2023-02-15, version 6.0.1* Moved over from the horizon app onto the HiHi platform. All works but for me it just doesn’t announce calls on the Lock Screen. When a call comes in it displays as the line name calling followed by the number so iOS can’t lookup the number in my contacts. It just takes some shine off what otherwise is a great app which is continually developed. I wait in hope that one day it will ring and actually display correctly who is calling from the phone contacts. ### 1/5 — Really unreliable App *2023-01-19, version 5.0.0* Constantly losing calls, unable to contact colleagues, unable to pick up calls, messed up my mobile. Will be looking for alternatives at the next review ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Forced switch to Webex *2026-02-24, version 7.5.0* The HiHi app worked fantastically - exactly as needed and was a key point in the sales talk which convinced a switch to this company for our telephone systems. Unfortunately HiHi/4Com have now ended support for this app and decided to integrate Webex for mobile office calls… this doesn’t work seamlessly (contacts do not mirror from office desk phone into Webex for example) and is frustrating at best. A backward step for something we are now locked into for 7 years. ### 1/5 — When it works *2025-06-30, version 7.3.0* When it works it’s good but more often than not, I answer the call and can’t hear the other person which always seems unprofessional through no fault of our own. I used to copy the number from emails and texts and paste it into the keypad and call.
