Grundsätzlich sind Kamera und App funktionsfähig. Die App ist allerdings vom UI sehr rudimentär und in die Jahre gekommen, baut trotz stabiler und schneller WLAN- / Internetverbindung nur langsam das Kamerabild auf und die Videomitschnitte nach Alarmen lassen sich häufig nicht in der App anzeigen oder sind teilweise nur 1-2 Sekunden lang, weil der nächste Alarm dann scheinbar eine neue Aufzeichnung startet. Alles in allem sollte die App m.E.n. generalüberholt und auf den aktuellen Stand der Technik gebracht werden. ### 2/5 — Kein Push Funktion mehr *2022-04-24* Wir haben die Kamera S6 mit Nistkasten seit einem Jahr und waren stets zufrieden. Seit Tagen funktioniert die Push Mitteilung nicht mehr und es Wertsachen keine Fotos mehr verschickt. Videos sind auch nicht abrufbar. Damit ist die Kamera so gut wie nutzlos. Schade ### 2/5 — Funktioniert nicht mehr richtig! *2020-09-19* Am Anfang hat alles einwandfrei geklappt. Jetzt kommt zwar der Alarm an aber man kann weder die Alarmliste ansehen noch lässt sich ein gespeichertes Video öffnen. Die Aktualisierung funktioniert auch nicht mehr. Sehr schade! ### 3/5 — App Probleme *2020-09-19* Wir haben insgesamt 11 Kameras im Innen- und Außenbereich. Funktioniert alles super. Leider ist die App sehr nervig. Ich sitze hier oft 30 Minuten und länger bis ich die Kurzmeldung in der Alarmliste anschauen kann. Man bekommt einfach keinen Zugriff auf die Kameras, obwohl meine Internetverbindung „LTE“ ist. Kann mich in den letzten 10 Monaten an kein Update erinnern. ### 3/5 — Funktioniert gut aber *2020-04-01* Es wäre schön, wenn man die manuelle Aufnahme nicht so umständlich über das Menü, sondern direkt im Video z.B. neben dem roten Lautsprecher aktivieren könnte. ### 3/5 — Neu Updates notwendig *2019-08-24* Die App ist leicht zu bedienen und funktioniert auf meinem IPhone 6 ios 12.4 gut, allerdings bis ich einige Aufnahmen abgespielt habe, dann fällt sie einfach aus. Ich habe sie gelöscht und wieder installiert sogar mein Gerät zurückgesetzt, bin aber leider aufs gleiche Problem gestoßen. Daher bitte ich die Entwickler, durch ein neues Update diesen Fehler zu beheben. ### 3/5 — Schon ganz gut, aber... *2019-06-16* .....die WLAN Antenne könnte besser sein. Desweiteren vermisse ich beim Punkt Abspielen die Möglichkeiten aufgenommene Videos Senden oder Speichern zu können ohne die Speicherkarte erst ausbauen zu müssen! Bei der Clipvorschau geht es doch auch. Bei Alarmen dauert es sehr sehr lange zumindest die Clips anschauen zu können, was natürlich an der WLAN Verbindung liegt. Andere Namhafte und wesentlich teurere Hersteller machen das aber noch nicht mal ansatzweise so gut. Wenn ihr also unter dem Punkt Apspielen eine Speichermöglichkeit verwirklichen könnten, bei dem man unterwegs auf dem Mobilgerät speichern könnte wäre es super. ### 2/5 — Naja *2019-06-13* Funktioniert zwar, allerdings ist das Design beziehungsweise die Darstellung mehr als überholt und sollte dringend neu gestaltet und Bediener freundlicher werden. ### 2/5 — Eigentlich gut, Werbung nervt seit neuestem *2019-06-02* Ich hatte bisher nichts auszusetzen aber das ich jetzt ständig Werbung angezeigt bekomme nervt! Einmalige Werbung o. k. aber nicht dauerhaft! ### 2/5 — Funktioniert, aber *2019-03-19* sobald ich die App verlasse geht sie offline und der Alarm wird nicht als Push-Mitteilung aufs Handy gesendet, lediglich per E-Mail. ### 3/5 — Stürzt ab *2019-01-19* Stürzt beim Öffnen auf iPhone 8, neuestes iOS, sofort ab. Schade. Vorherige Version auf iPhone 6 mit iOS 11.4 war gut. ### 2/5 — Need complete new app *2019-01-11* You guys need to completely re-develop the app. The UI of this app is so obsolete. I recognize this kind of UI from iPhone 4 maybe. The navigation within the app is not intuitive nor straight forward. If you really looking forward to promote the camera, then do a good job on the app. **Developer response:** Hi Lcgu, Thank you for the feedback and comments. Best regards, HiKam Support USA ### 2/5 — App worked the first time, then lost the camera. *2018-12-24* The app worked out of the box, but then I got a new phone and had to re-find the camera. Which it could not do. It found the camera as a new camera, but every option for adding it (scan, manual and so forth) ended in “password error”. I had never changed the password from what was on the back sticker. So I threw away the camera and won’t repurchase. Typical of the Internet of things. Insecure, awkward, and the app is junk. I’m holding the camera in my hand, the app sees it and still won’t log onto it. And it all goes through some server someplace I don’t control. No. No. No. ### 3/5 — Works, but glitches? *2018-07-11* I bought the camera that goes with this app, overall I like the camera a lot. However, the app not so much. I am having issues with transmitting remotely live feed on my phone, it only plays a few seconds and then stops I have to shut the app and start it again, but it does the same thing again over and over. It records fine, but when I try to play the recordings, it takes a really long time to play and most the time it can’t connect to the server to play them appropriately. It is almost impossible to fast forward or go backwards on the recordings, it doesn’t seem to be working appropriately, I’d like to see a better app to really enjoy the camera to keep track of what’s going on at my place while I’m away. Like I said, the camera works fine, but the app not so much. **Developer response:** Hi Blas, Thank you for your comments. B. mal mit der Kamera verbindet, was absolut nicht immer der Fall ist, dann immer erst beim zweiten Mal. Beim ersten Mal bekommt man immer die Meldung „Zeitüberschreitung“. Dabei ist es völlig egal ob die Kamera direkt neben dem Router mit Glasfaseranschluss plaziert ist oder nicht. Hat also nichts mit schlechter Qualität des Wlan oder des Internetanschlusses Zuhause zu tun sondern mit der schlechten App! Weiter hat man es in den Jahren nicht hinbekommen, dass sich die App Ansicht dreht. Die Darstellung erfolgt immer im Landscape Modus des Ipad aber dann auf dem Kopf. Ich besorge mir jetzt andere Kameras mit einer funktionierenden App ### 1/5 — Not working *2021-12-20* This app and the camera are not at all working. !!! ### 1/5 — „Airlink“ funktioniert nicht *2020-06-23* Ich kann meine Kamera(HiKam S5) nicht in Betrieb nehmen, weil die Funktion „airlink“ nicht wie beschrieben funktioniert. Auf der Seite, auf der ich das wlan-Passwort eingeben soll, ist der Name meines wlans (das wlan, mit dem das Smartphone verbunden ist) laut Gebrauchsanweisung angeblich schon automatisch ausgewählt. Das ist bei mir nicht der Fall. Statt des wlan-Namens steht bei mir nur „wi-fi“. Das Feld mit diesem ‚wlan-Namen‘ lässt sich nicht bearbeiten, ich kann also meinen wlan-Namen nicht einmal manuell eingeben. Auch die anderen vorgeschlagenen Methoden funktionieren nicht. ### 1/5 — Crap app is crap *2020-06-08* What a piece of crap app this is. Everything about it is crap. It uses “accounts” that must be unique per device/phone. It can’t talk to cameras by IP, only by the nickname of a camera that has internet access. Useless if you keep your cameras secure by not allowing them Internet access ### 1/5 — Worst app ever!! *2018-12-21* After I updated the app, every time I tried to watch a live feed from the cams at my house the iPad app crashes. I already tried to uninstall and reinstall twice. In my iPhone (with the old version of the app) I have no problem watching the live feed. Downloaded the update and camera stopped working. Camera will not even reset when I use the reset button. Complete waste of money so far . ### 1/5 — Terrible *2018-06-22* App keeps forgetting my camera. Have had issues from day one. Id sei falsch. Auf anrodid geht's aber Support hat auch schon geantwortet mit Kameras der 1. Generation soll man das app yoosee verwenden und damit geht's auch. Danke, super Support. ### 5/5 — Kleine Schwächen *2021-02-27* Seit Jahren im Einsatz und bisher such in den wildesten Konfigurationen einwandfrei. Nur zwei Sachen stören: - Sie ist hässlich à la 2007 - Sie hat neuerdings Werbung Dennoch gebe ich im Gegensatz zu anderen Rezensenten hier volle 5 Sterne. Ich bin nämlich nicht jemand, der diese App wegen Werbung oder Datenschutzbedenken schlecht bewertet, Facebook und Whatsapp aber 5 Sterne gibt. Statt dessen volle Punktzahl wegen rock-solid Zuverlässigkeit und Datenspeicherung in Deutschland. Allerdings ist in der App immer nur eine cam online, beide gleichzeitig funktionieren nicht. I always was able to have multiple users watch the same camera but now only one person a time can. If someone tries to check a camera then it kicks the other one off. Der Support ist übrigens sehr gut und sehr schnell. Dafür einen Extrapunkt und Upgrade auf 4 Sterne. ### 4/5 — Love...but *2016-12-28* Was looking for a wireless, outdoor security camera and this one fit the bill. Was an easy install, and hooked up to my internet easily and immediately. Works well at night as well. My ONLY issue is there apparently no sensitivity to the motion sensor, so in other words, every time a bird lands in my driveway I get notified (and I don't want to turn off the notifications or is basically useless to me). **Developer response:** Hi Scott, thank for your feedback and sorry for the late response. Best regards, Steven HiKam Support Backoffice ### 3/5 — Nach aktuellem Update nur Fehler *2023-08-13* Seit dem aktuellen Update findet die App 3 von 4 Kameras nicht mehr. Entweder gehen sie nicht online oder die Verbindung bricht direkt zusammen. Ein Löschen einer inaktiven Kamera führt dauernd zum Absturz der App. Das ist das Update eine totale Verschlechterung und bedarf dringend einer Überarbeitung. ### 3/5 — Can we get an update? *2021-07-23, version 2.0.32* This app will not go past the year 2019.
