This is a great planning tool that literally tells me the best days and times to hike. I highly recommend it, especially to those planning heights that see nasty and unpredictable weather. ### 5/5 — Great Hike Planning Tool *2026-09-30* I am an experienced hiker and hiking educator who puts an emphasis on the first of the seven Leave No Trace Principals—Plan Ahead and Prepare. Knowing what conditions that you could encounter on a hike is a critical step in enjoying a hike safely. Knowing the conditions where it is safest to postpone a hike is also important. This app is an incredibly useful tool for planning and preparing for a hike. It gives you a lot of information in a clean, easy-to-interpret format. It has been more accurate than anything else that I’ve used for hike planning and mountain forecasting. ### 5/5 — So accurate, so easy *2026-09-20* I’ve had a lot of issues with mountain weather apps before, but this one is extremely accurate. Also, it literally tells me if the weather is good for hiking. This is based on my own weather preferences so I know I can trust that. ### 5/5 — Easy to use *2026-09-19* User friendly and easily customizable! ### 5/5 — Loving it so far *2026-09-18* Just downloaded it but so far I really like the format and ease of use. Going to be hiking in the mountains the next two days so I’ll report back on accuracy. ## Frequently asked questions about Hiker’s Weather ### What is Hiker's Weather?
