Can connect but not download updates. However since reading reviews that stated turning off mobile data in iOS, then it works to download updates. Still doesn’t work on android tablet though which is WiFi only.. ### 2/5 — funktioniert nur bedingt *2026-05-20* nach Registrierung erkennt er Benutzername nicht, Beschreibungen sind kryptisch und funktionieren nicht, ich kann mit der App kaum was anfangen. Es müsste schon deutlich besser erklärt werden, was wo auf welchem Gerät zu tun ist. Mit viel Recherche bekommt man es vielleicht raus aber ohne Safari und ChatGPT keine Chance. Das sollte nicht sein. ### 2/5 — Fine once you can get the device connected *2026-05-19, version 2.11.0* For those that come later… I needed to turn the phone’s mobile data off /and/ ensure the device (alpex 4K lite) was still in the hotspot menu before it would connect. Videos don’t play and support for the app is only half-hearted. While the app may run well on an old phone it fails miserably with the latest iPhone/IoS. Despite sending videos demonstrating the error to HIKMICRO support they belligerently ignore the issue clearly considering it must be a myriad of issues but certainly not with their product which must be the holy grail in day night vision scopes. The app is easy to use and set up but has functionality issues. Burst function 1P, 2P,3P doesn’t work, will only do 1P. Also Picture/Video selection doesn’t do P/V/P only P/V! Tried for hours. Used a friends android. Connected immediately using the identical process. ### 1/5 — Useless *2026-09-01, version 2.12.0* App is dreadful, requires constant re-logging in, doesn’t appear landscape so you have to turn device round EVERY time you use it, functionality is poor. I cannot believe that after all the work Hikmirco do to advance all there products they’ve got such a useless App, it brings into question how useful and well designs are the products themselves. I have 3 or 4 products. Come on Hikmirco sort out the App. I’ve already started moving to Pixfra. Egal welches Gerät oder Version! Nothing happens. Still won’t connect. Tried Bluetooth - same problem. Switch mobile data off in your iphone settings- the app then connects without issue and works well. This is essential information for iPhone users for this app to work. ### 5/5 — Works fine *2024-11-14, version 2.5.4* App works fine on iPhone 14 Pro running iOS 18.2 beta 3.
