Functionally it’s even worse, the search functionality NEVER works and I can barely ever find what I’m looking for. That the team thought it would be a good user experience to have to capture products, that already exist in the store’s POS and the online shop, in order to buy them speaks to the lack of foresight of this app. How is there no barcode scanning functionality yet I am able to take a photo of a product? Why am I even taking a picture? Why can’t the developers process the barcode server-side and populate the product details for me? If the product didn’t exist it would make sense to then capture the details. This is 2020, why is it that the only entry point to creating an order is a process that would take 20 minutes (to manually capture 10 items)?
