The main reason that I stay with Hilton is for the digital check in process on the app. I use to be able to pick my room and get a digital key. That streamlined my hotel stay. All of that is gone now. So to me, it takes the advantage of staying with Hilton away. You have become just another hotel option.

I have been a Hilton member for awhile now and use the app all the time to book rooms. It’s easy to navigate and easy to cancel if needed

I have had Hilton cancel two reservations on me and charge me as a late cancellation when I prepaid the room. The 2nd time it was in the middle of my stay, no one knows why.  I had spent multiple days and hours on the phone with them until one call I was transferred to the hotel manager who took his entire day trying to figure it out.  He eventually did and had to cut me a hand written check from his hotel. I didn’t receive the refund for 20 plus days. And I am still fighting g to get my points.  I also requested a name change, submitted the paper work in May and they never changed name, now August. Again spent time out of my day arguing trying to get them to complete it in there end.  I am throughly disappointed in the Hilton name.
