Not a fan of the whole unblur thing and how limited it is. You don't even get to see all your matches and views, you get to view 2 of them per day. Not to mention I keep getting suggested people who are literally in different states from me despite changing my preferences to less than 30 miles from me. A waste of time and money. ### 1/5 — DO NOT PAY ANYTHING ON THIS APP *2026-08-20, version 6.83.0* My experience with Haley has been extremely disappointing. First, the matching algorithm was noticeably worse than other dating apps I’ve used, but the biggest issue is their subscription and account-deletion process. I subscribed and paid through the app. Later, I deactivated and deleted my account through the app, so naturally I believed I was done with the service. Yet I was still charged afterward. Apparently, deleting or deactivating your Haley account does not necessarily cancel your paid subscription. You have to cancel it separately, potentially through a browser, email, or wherever the subscription is being managed. That is a HUGE problem. If an app makes it easy to subscribe and take your payment inside the app, it should be equally clear and straightforward to stop those payments when you permanently delete your account. A reasonable person deleting their entire dating profile would not expect the company to continue charging them for an account they no longer use. I can’t speak to the company’s intentions, but the way this is designed felt extremely deceptive to me. It creates a situation where customers can believe they’ve completely left the service while charges continue in the background. Whether intentional or not, that is the kind of subscription practice consumers should be warned about. If you decide to use Haley, do not assume deleting your account cancels your subscription. Check your subscription separately and make sure you have confirmation that billing has actually stopped. I would not recommend this app based on my experience. The poor matching algorithm was frustrating, but continuing to be charged after deleting my account is what completely destroyed my trust in the service. ### 1/5 — Trash *2026-08-19, version 6.82.0* No one local, no filter against fake accounts.
