Which would give them access to a lot of personal data. Sad. It seemed like a fun app. UPDATE: I received a response from the developer claiming “We do not use any of your personal information when you are onboarding. We simply use your first, middle and last name to personalize thousands of HiNOTES to create your own digital stationery box, curated just for you. “ But not at all addressing the fact you must supply your cell number. **Developer response:** Dear 535894, Thank you for sharing this valuable feedback. I cannot even get past the first screen on your app without typing in a mobile phone number. I would use this exclusively if it didn’t have the link and large logo, but as it is now, I won’t be using it anymore. It’s such a great idea and so clever and really lovable, just hate the attachment and the big red logo on my text messages two times.
