### 3/5 — Good workouts BUT …

*2026-04-09, version 3.15.1*

The workouts I found here are really good! I also love how workout playlists are available on Spotify to add in; however, when I added the music, I couldn’t hear the instruction cues. That being said, the app is a bit overwhelming! I didn’t know where to start. There is so much to choose from!

### 2/5 — Workouts are not lead by Carrie

*2026-01-15, version 3.13.0*

I was under the impression that the workouts were instructed by Carrie, her trainer etc. since it’s marketed as such but they are not. The workouts are shown like a “deck of cards” with a character doing the workouts for you to follow. You do not follow a real person in the workouts.

### 4/5 — Great just missing recipe creation

*2025-12-10, version 3.13.0*

The app has everything and syncs to apple health. i joined for only a month because I could not find where i could build my own recipes.

### 5/5 — Great app

### 5/5 — So versatile!

*2025-10-18, version 3.12.0*

Love this app! Can do it anywhere, anytime. With or without equipment. No babysitter necessary. Family friendly. Started in January 2020 and loving it still! Never a repeat or boring workout. Down 15+ lbs and at least and inch and a half around the waistline!

### 5/5 — Try it!

*2025-10-18, version 3.12.0*

Love this app and all the different programs! I get bored easily doing the same old things but this app keeps everything fresh and fun!

### 5/5 — Fitness

Love this app! It helps me get into shape. It also helps with stress!

### 5/5 — Love it but one suggestion

*2025-09-30, version 3.12.0*

I’ve used this app since it came out and I love how it keeps getting better and better over the years! Also, the nutrition and recipes are amazing! The ONLY thing I’d love to see is when using the workout generator, an option to switch from “cards” to “sets”. Like the same layout as Carrie’s Famous leg workout. Other than that great app for all levels, love the new exercises, I love that you don’t have to follow a calendar if you need to miss a day and the recipes are fire🔥

### 5/5 — Great for home work outs!

*2025-08-05, version 3.11.2*

I’ve been using the fit52 app for over 4 years! It’s perfect t for those that are looking for an alternative to busy, expensive, sweaty gyms. Fit52 has a wide range of exercises, targeting muscle strengthening, stretching, yoga, and cardio. There are Beginner, Intermediate, and Expert levels to match your fitness needs!
Highly recommend, especially if you’re just starting out trying to implement a regular exercise routine!

### 4/5 — Switching it up

*2025-08-05, version 3.11.2*

I love that it’s not the same thing every single day. I do, however wish I could build my own workout with specific exercises, not just what’s in the library.

### 5/5 — Absolutely the best!!!

*2025-08-05, version 3.11.2*

This app is incredible, always pushing you to the next level, I highly recommend for all levels of fitness never the same workout so you never get bored or uninspired .

### 5/5 — Excellent - Extremely Beneficial

*2025-08-04, version 3.11.2*

Full body workouts with trainers. Cards keep it interesting. The Advanced workouts are really challenging. You get cardio and strength. Very balanced. After using this I can see that my prior regimen of just running and weightlifting was really one dimensional. There’s a lot more strength, fitness, and flexibility to be gained with this app.

### 1/5 — Cancelled 3 months in and still billed annually

*2026-07-25, version 4.0.6*

Started when it was Fit52. Did not enjoy the app. Cancelled immediately. Logged in last week to confirm I Han no active subscriptions or payment methods. Today was billed for annual subscription despite there being NO saved payments listed not active subscriptions. If you cancel, check your bank account for the next 2 years because they are not abiding by their terms. #classaction

### 1/5 — Needs progressive overload

*2026-01-03, version 3.13.0*

0 stars

### 1/5 — Complete garbage.

*2022-10-05, version 2.7.4*

Makes it impossible to unsubscribe. To give honest feedback. Anything that would actually indicate they care about the customer further than your money.

### 1/5 — Totally NOT for everyone! Assumes you are able-bodied

*2022-09-14, version 2.7.2*

I tested this App for two weeks free trial and was extremely disappointed. It assumes you are an able-bodied individual capable of doing complex floor exercises. I filled in what exercise equipment I had and I didn’t get exercise plans customized using those. Instead I was given plans telling me to use my handheld weights just once but to do lots of jumping up and down of the floor, doing complicated moves requiring one leg off the floor. I am a stroke survivor and I walk with a cane. I can’t balance on one leg! Getting up and down is rough. I am barely up and the exercise is already over! Or I just got down and the exercise is over! Definitely NOT geared towards disabled or people with neurological disorders.

### 1/5 — Questionable coach

*2021-11-11, version 2.3.2*

I love this app but turns out Carrie’s husband is against medicine !! Not sure if I trust her fitness advice !

### 1/5 — Let down.

*2021-01-07, version 1.6.1*

I absolutely LOVED Carrie’s book. So I was really excited and hopeful about the app. It was extremely redundant and sometimes I would get the same card (workout) 6 times in a row. There are many different paths you can take. So the variety is nice. However they were all similar, just different work outs. If you like to mix it up like I do, this isn’t the app for you.

I really enjoyed the work outs themselves. There’s just needs to be more options. I also thought it would be more like a work out class style where the person leading it talks. It was more like a robot showing you the moves. I LOVE Carrie and again-her book is amazing! I would highly recommend that instead.

### 1/5 — Wanted to Love it...

*2020-04-02, version 1.1.1*

I tried the beginner workout today and was very disappointed. There is a lot of repetition (4-5 consecutive rounds of Bodyweight renegade rows and 4-5 consecutive sets of leap forward shuffle backs). I actually don’t need a lot of variety typically but vegan to wonder if the program had a glitch or if I had somehow forgotten to press “next”.
Also, 45-50min is a lengthy program for beginners (or many busy people). I was previously an avid exerciser but due to health set backs have started over and 15-30 minutes feels ideal for myself, and I’d guess many beginners.
It would be nice to have the option to chose the time and equipment on hand before selecting a workout. Also music. App seems nice but lacking compared to many others I’ve tried.

### 1/5 — Too pricey!

*2020-03-25, version 1.1.0*

Who can afford this right now?! Not this Canadian. CU is amazing but she cannot really need the money.

### 1/5 — Difficult to Operate, Crashes and Signs you Out

*2020-03-19, version 1.0.6*

The app is very difficult to navigate and crashes often in the middle of workouts. Signs you out and then when you sign in again you have to start a work out over and you can’t skip or fast forwarded to where you were in the middle of the app. Quite annoying when you’re half way through and this happens. There’s no way to see what your previous work outs were, where you were in the middle of a workout or to skip a day if it was in your “calendar.” Very frustrating features but it would be a great app if the bugs were fixed. The workouts are excellent and a great burn.

### 1/5 — Money

*2020-03-04, version 1.0.3*

70 a year for Canadians!! No way

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — I got a Carrie Underwood app

*2026-06-16, version 4.0.3*

I got all the Carrie Underwood songs, We went to see her in her concert four times: One from the Grand Ole Opry, Two from American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX and One from Choctaw in Oklahoma!

### 5/5 — One of the best workout apps

*2026-01-24, version 3.13.0*

I love this app! I used to take classes at the gym, but with my schedule, the timing of the classes did not always work out. This app allows me to workout on my schedule, with my desire level of difficulty, as well as how long I want to work out. It’s great because I set the app with the equipment I have. I’ve tried about 3 other apps and this one is the best for me! It has delicious recipes as well. I actually wasn’t going to keep it, but after some time with it I renewed.

### 5/5 — Awesome I love the variety of workouts!

*2026-01-13, version 3.13.0*

Bonus it’s actually affordable! I only wish they had the option to take a picture of your food when logging it in the journal.

### 5/5 — Best home workout app

*2026-01-12, version 3.13.0*

I’ve tried several apps over the years. And had beachbody (bodi) for several years. I have not been so on track with any of them like I am with this one. The way you can customize your workouts and how long you have to do them. I even look forward to my workouts. Who am I lol.

### 5/5 — Love this app

*2025-10-20, version 3.12.0*

So many choices. It keeps me motivated !

### 5/5 — Fit 52

*2025-10-20, version 3.12.0*

I enjoy this app can do on my own time in my own home and i can also do it when i travel .

### 5/5 — Just what I need

*2025-10-20, version 3.12.0*

The price is right for a 57year-old teacher who needs to stay active and is on a budget. I don’t have Carrie‘s legs yet, but I’m giving it a solid effort. I do the half workout about 4 to 5 times a week. It’s the perfect amount of time for usually an early morning start to the day. I have what is needed for the bands and weights. I do believe that you can incorporate heavier weights on some of the exercises which is good for someone my age. I do think I’ll ask for 20s for Christmas. I enjoy the warm-ups and cool downs. Being able to work out at my intermediate level has been perfect. I will renew my membership for year three!

### 5/5 — Greatest workout app

*2025-10-20, version 3.12.0*

This Fitness app offers everything from recipes to video workouts! It’s all encompassing!

### 5/5 — Amazing Complete Workout!

*2025-10-19, version 3.12.0*

This is the only workout app I have stuck with, and I’ve tried many! I love that it incorporates strength training and cardio, as well as providing beginner, intermediate and advanced level options, that also allow you to customize which exercises you want to do, in case you have limitations due to injuries, etc. This is a well balanced app that is fun, encouraging and will provide results if you provide the commitment. My husband said he is so impressed with how strong I have become and I am a “machine”…aka BA! 💪

### 5/5 — Fun

*2025-10-19, version 3.12.0*

Loving this been with fit52 for over a year now!! It’s amazing!!
