It can see the weather for the day via the weather app and not run if it’s raining, icy or windy. It maintains logs on water use, allows for soak in periods within a schedule, etc. Not too shabby! But… if there’s a way to edit a schedule, I can’t find it. If there’s something I want to change I’ve had to delete the schedule and start from scratch. They should fix that! ### 4/5 — Just Installed *2026-07-18* As we have only installed it today, I can say the WiFi setup was extremely easy. Installing and using the app was a breeze. Replacing the old Sprinkler Timer was not an issue either. I will need to come back in a few weeks to leave a more complete review. Now it is dead. *2026-05-31* Started using it yesterday after getting my new system set up. Got as far as testing the zones, naming them, and adding photos to identify them. The UI is really complex, and needs simplification, but I was willing to look past that minor issue. However, when I went back into the app a couple hours later to start programming schedules, everything was missing/blank as if the whole app was wiped. I closed/reopened the app, but that didn’t help. I logged out, but when I tried logging back in, I got a timeout error. This has been going on for almost 10 hours now. I’m completely unable to access the system, and now I have to turn my valves manually just to water my lawn. If this had happened while I was away from home/out of town, I would be livid. I’ve emailed support, but waiting for a reply as it’s a weekend right now. Not a great start to my experience with Hioazo. My last timer was an Orbit brand and setting the timer up was complicated and time-consuming. having Internet capabilities is also a great feature with these timers as I can start a quick run time from anywhere I can get an Internet connection. Why? APP also doesn’t have features of history of watering each event. History of giving total gallons or time of past week or year are not useful to users. Each event listing chronological events and time line with gallon or time is more useful, which you don’t have option for display. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Best “AI” sprinkler controller *2026-07-22* I have a big lawn, some flowers and bushes and a small vegetable garden and pay attention to my watering schedule a lot. I bought this HiOazo for the WiFi remote control because I travel a lot. Unexpectedly the HiOazo adjusts itself to the local weather report automatically. In a short month, it saves me enough water and money for its worth.
