When you launch the application, you’ll see a menu window that lets you choose to read through the entire contents of Hip Licks, page by page without the play-along tracks, or to load each set of licks with the accompanying play-along track. All page turns are automatic, and synchronized with the play-along track. To start playing a sax demo track, simply click on the saxophone icon on the lower left side of the display, and the track will immediately begin to play. But crashes *2014-07-21, version 1.0* This book is excellent and the licks in the book are derived from jazz giants and then perfected by Greg Fishman. This book is masterfully assembled for the best learning experience. One suggestion I would make is to learn these licks with just the music and not read the book. By memorizing these licks by ear, you gain a greater understanding of how each tone fits over a chord progression.this isn't a hip licks book... It is a Jazz language book and is greatly rewarding.
