## What is Hip Score?

The Hip Score App calculates a pain and functional score out of 100 points, where 100 points is the best score and 0 points the worst. The questions asked in the Hip Score App assess pain and functional capacity. 

The calculation of the score is done in a linear manner by moving a slider. Moving the slider to the left decreases the combined pints for the hip score. The final result is shown at the bottom.

The score combines rating for pain, functional capacity and movement. Calculation is done on the device. No internet connection required. 

The Hip Score App is not validated. The Hip Score App gives only an indication how pain and functional capacity could affect the hip joint. 

The calculated value is in no respect relevant for the diagnosis, management or treatment of any medical condition. It is not a substitute for expert medical advice from a qualified healthcare provider.

The Hip Score does not collect, store or transmit any personal information.
