## What is HipPocket Training?

HipPocket is designed to help our military and first responders with the most comprehensive list of expert-submitted opportunity training. Instead of being limited by your trainers knowledge or your organization's way of doing things, now you can learn from the best! Our mission is to create a one-stop shop for everyone serving in any capacity. No longer will you be at the whim of your supervisor's experience or have to worry about being prepared to train others. At any time, you can pull up whatever you need for whatever you're doing that day and refresh yourself, or take advantage of some free time and train others.
You can:

- Filter training by which organization you want to see, how long you have, what training is applicable to which school, how big your audience is, the difficulty of the training, whether or not the training requires materials, and how big of an area you have to work with.
- Find a shop that includes hand-picked gear that can mean the difference to passing or failing, or at the very least give you some level of comfort in the field.
- Utilize our 3 fillable forms! (More coming soon)

  2. A lead sheet you can use for recruiting
  3. An Army formatted memo generator
- Inside each course you'll find a list of References, Pro-Tips if there are multiple ways to do something, and a course assessment form where you can submit information we may need to update.
- Coming soon, we will have a mini shop inside each course so you can buy things that apply to that topic. For example, you're about to be tested on land navigation but haven't done it in awhile. Storage Clipboards, red-light headlamps, gore-tex boots, and waterproof notepads and pens may come in handy!
We have approx. 100 more features coming in the next couple years. You can help decide what you want to see most! Fill out our contact sheet and we will respond within 24 hours.
Most importantly, use that contact sheet and you can suggest training, or write it yourself! We are going to depend on our experts to spread the most efficient and safest practices throughout our community. You may notice a few trainings that have already come from others. You will receive full credit and can be recognized as influencing your peers all around the nation.

As a Staff Sergeant in the Military, this app is a great idea and had tons of information that can truly be used for hip pocket classes for me to teach lower enlisted individuals in the squad. I’ve had all of them download this app because even if they have had a class on some of these things just having the information so easily available at your finger tips is the biggest enabler to helping us stay mission ready for any and all situations. The developer is very responsive to feedback and willing to continuously add in desired information!

I love the idea. It’s pretty cool that you can see several branches of training in one place. I think a lot of people will find benefits they didn’t even know they had as well. Only thing I’d recommend is adding more.

There is a plethora of information contained in this app. First aid, police work, Army combat, Officer Candidate School… basic to advanced knowledge.  This app covers it all!  It’s a must have!
