My only recommendation would be to add a more in-depth menu and allow the user options both for sequential cards rather than a random order, as well as the option to include/exclude specific characters from a deck, rather than having to shuffle through and remove unnecessary cards each time the deck is reset. **Developer response:** Great feedback! It's really helpful and useful in really sticking hiragana and katakana in your head. Once you master a card, you are able to remove it so you can master the others. Great app, would recommend. Suggestion: maybe add a sound button or the option to start with the English first so we can practice remembering how to write the letter. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Loves Drills *2018-04-12* This Ap does not provide audio which the app references as “voice”. How are you supposed to get the pronunciation without the audio. Doesn’t “voice” mean audio or sound???? **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. “Voiced” refers to voiced consonant sounds (ka → ga, ta → da, etc.) which are indicated by the dakuten (“) marker. I plan to add audio pronunciations to the app in the future, but apologies if there was any confusion about current audio functionality. ### 1/5 — Just random *2018-01-23* Not only it randomly shows hirgana and katakana, it will bring in the ones you explicitly say remove from deck. Not helping with the learning really. I regret this choice. **Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback. Extensive testing has been done before releasing the app to ensure these types of bugs aren’t present. Please double check your deck settings as randomization is a default feature and the same sounds can be present in both the Hiragana and Katakana decks. ### 4/5 — Pretty good *2018-07-20* So far exactly what I wanted. Would be nice to change the colors. If i could pick colors for the cards would be great. It hurts my eyes. If it wasn’t for that red I would give this 5 stars. **Developer response:** Great feedback thank you! I love the idea of being able to customize the colors to your likings. I did notice that the hirigana for “wo” is actually listed as being “o” so that should probably be fixed That’s the only error I’ve noticed and otherwise it’s great! However, I can see room for confusion without any explanation so I’ll plan on adding more clarity in the next update. ### 5/5 — Simple *2019-04-17* So easy to use when you have a spare minute. Quick toilet break, short bus or train ride, waiting in line for anything. Will improve your reading speed with little effort. And it’s only a quid.
