I would love to have them use the app, but there is a mistake: the “i”sound is used for both い and う and this will confuse my lower students. (I haven’t checked all the other sounds.) ### 5/5 — Outstanding. Almost exactly what I needed. *2024-12-21* I’ve made more memory progress using this app in two days than I have in two weeks using other apps and even hand writing. It’s been two days and I’m pretty sure I’ll have all of the hiragana completly down within the next 3-4. I’ll be keeping the app and training with it every day though. The only thing it’s missing is a way to write in the characters. That’s it. That’s the only thing missing. Other than that, truly a 5 star app. I never rate anything 5 stars because I’m super critical and nit pick a lot. But after downloading and deleting app after app, this being almost exactly what I’ve been hunting for earns it that extra star. Makes memory hooks that work well for beginners and stick. I use this in conjunction with other apps and I have much better recall.
