At first glance there doesn’t seem to be much to this app, but its simplicity is the key. The ever-present Home Screen widget made an enormous difference to my learning of hirigana, reinforced by the quick daily quiz. It felt like the smallest thing, but this app has made such a huge difference.

The only negative is that the daily quiz streaks/scoring is unclear and there is no permanent score card or table. Hopefully this side of the app will be beefed up in the future.
