Now that I can’t do that, this app is worthless. ### 1/5 — Bad “Update” *2022-02-16* You took what was a great app and made it unusable. This update is horrible. While the new video is better in app, that was never a problem especially since you don’t hire based on looks. 1. I can’t copy the answers in app. So now if I want to call or text someone I have to switch between the phone/text app and the HireVue app. I don’t think I can calculate how much more time that’s going to waste. 2. Now it takes more clicks to get between questions. Wasted time! 3. Sometimes the app just goes blank. Sometimes the applicants just don’t show up. 4. The app is slower to get around to different areas of the app. Wasting even more time. 5. Now EVERY Position in my company comes up with no way to Filter just mine in the Positions tab. I work for a Fortune 100 company, can you guess how many interviews that is and how much time that wastes while I search for my interview?? 6. Search just doesn’t work. Or it is taking so long to pull anything up that I can’t wait for it. Wasted time! None of these were issues…until I logged into the app today. Based on this I’m sure I’ll find more issues. I’ve been an iPhone user for 13 years and never written a review before. This is the first time because this update is just such junk, I don’t even think I can evaluate on the road anymore. Now I’m going to have to take my laptop everywhere I go….which obviously makes this app useless. Did you guys try to get any feedback before you launched this update? I can’t imagine someone, like me, who’s goes through daily 20-70, up to 100 interviews a day wouldn’t have mentioned some of these issues…. Please fix this quickly. ### 1/5 — Navigation does not work *2021-04-27* Like the other reviewer, I found it impossible to navigate out of an interview using the back button. You have to shut down, log in again, click and refresh multiple times to see the candidate list. Very poor execution. ### 2/5 — Will not allow navigation (super frustrating) *2021-03-26* The app does not allow me to muse the built in back button to go to the next candidate. Have to close the app and reopen. Can’t see this tool being used much longer as it will quickly be replaced by something that is actually supported. Also provide little no data in the candidates much like it’s desk top version. ### 1/5 — App keeps crashing *2020-06-16* App (on iPad) keeps crashing, in the end conducted interview over the phone without HireVue. Contacted Customer Services who were no help, suggested I carry on using my phone. ### 1/5 — So buggy *2019-08-30, version 3.3.19* Search doesn’t work, many screens are blank and when it does finally show a position I click on it and a completely different position comes up each time. ### 2/5 — Stick to the website *2018-11-20* The sort order control doesn’t appear to work at all, there doesn’t appear to be a way to see only “to-dos” in a given list as you can on the website, and the filter appears to only work on names. I’m struggling to find ways this app is an improvement over the website, I’m afraid it feels like more of an afterthought. ### 2/5 — Does not rotate on iPhone 5 *2018-04-17* Auto (or even manual) rotate does not work on iPhone 5. This causes display for reviewer to be limited. ### 3/5 — It's not great *2017-07-24, version 3.3.2* It's I guess a bit nicer in some ways than using the website on a tablet. Otherwise it's a bit fiddly. On browser, I can see tests and code side by side, here I have to swipe between description, tests, code, and challenges. Worst of all there's no syntax highlighting for code, just a great yellow wall of text. ### 2/5 — Previous version was better *2017-02-24, version 3.2.1* I really like the previous version better. Don't remember details as I haven't used the app in a couple of months. Returning for spring recruiting now. UI is horrible. This version doesn't display the candidates name, position. Ratings sometimes records, sometimes not. Doesn't auto play even though the setting is set to auto play. Uninstalling and reinstalling fixes the issue but what’s pain in the butt. ### 1/5 — Can’t play while screen off *2024-09-13* Why would you ever make an app that requires hours of listening not work while the screen is off? I like to listen to candidates while taking a walk or run, but it’s impossible with the way this app is designed.
