## Most critical reviews (7 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Not what I needed

*2025-09-10, version 2.60*

I got this app to help my son with a class project. He needed to have historical data for a table. He needed actual temperatures for specific dates. This app gives general averages and some highlights but nothing searchable for actual dates. It was absolute waste and I can get better info on the free weather app.

### 1/5 — Crashing

*2025-04-25*

Constantly crashing

### 3/5 — Not useful

*2026-07-28, version 3.01*

I can get the weather from lots of apps. I got this because of the historical records. But when it says to select a year, nothing shows up. You just have to guess which blank is the one you want. Will not renew.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2025-02-22, version 2.55*

What a great app! Not only does it give tons of current weather data, but it puts past years of weather data and interesting facts at your fingertips too!

### 5/5 — Weather with context

*2024-08-16, version Historical Weather 1.20*

Not only is this a great weather app with everything you would expect, it also gives you average temperatures for the day and month, average rainfall up to the current part of the year, and records for temperatures and rainfall. Very interesting and useful!

### 5/5 — Useful and neat

*2024-08-08, version Subscription and bug fixes*

This app is great. It does all the normal weather app stuff you need, plus so much more. I love that you can compare to historical averages, and that you can scroll through months to see what’s typical for an area. It is also super useful for travel planning, to get a clear idea of what weather to expect in an area long before a forecast is possibe

### 5/5 — Data based answers to questions about extreme weather.

*2024-08-02, version Historical Weather Pro*

It is not uncommon for people to tell me this is the hottest summer ever or the coldest winter ever. Checking the actual data for a specific location puts to rest many false assumptions (that are only natural) when we are experiencing weather extremes.
