I like this app - it very straightforwardly does what it says on the tin. But please please give it a widget that shows today’s date instead of bizarrely always being stuck on June 27th!

Einen Stern behalte ich jedoch, bis der Hintergrund überarbeitet wird und die Suche „brauchbar“ war. Einfach mal schwarz auf weißem Hintergrund oder umgekehrt, zu um die Lesbarkeit zu erhöhen. Und die Suche könnte z.B. eine Datumsangabe unterstützen. Dennoch empfehle ich die App an Wissensdurstige für Geschichte weiter.

Ich staune immer wieder über neue Erkenntnisse über Geschichtsereignisse mit Hilfe dieser App.

Da ich aber schlecht sehe, vermisse ich die Möglichkeit, die Schriftgröße für mich optimal einstellen zu können.
Die Option einer hellenSchrift auf schwarzem Hintergrund wäre auch hilfreich.

Man könnte die thematische Gliederung der aufgezählten Ereignisse durch Überschriften noch deutlicher hervorheben. Beispiele: Politik, Wirtschaft / Erfindungen, Kultur, Sport…

Generally a great app, but the content has holes. Events without names, and lots of indecipherable entries. Clean up the content and it’d be perfect.

As I am writing this in late 2017, there have been no notable deaths or events, according to this site, since 2011.  It appears that the person or persons who wrote this historical information did a fantastic job about 6 or 7 years ago, but has not done anything since.  I do like how the site links to Wikipedia where I can find updated information..

Ja, alles schön und gut - auch die Recherchen sind klasse, nur der ewig wechselnde Hintergrund gefällt mir nicht so, aber das ist bekanntlich ja Geschmacksache (De gustibus ... etc.). Die Sache an sich ist schon sehr schön!

Informative App mit vielen Fakten, macht Spaß und verbessert das Geschichtswissen enorm. Großes Problem: fehlende Möglichkeit, den ständig wechselnden Hintergrund abzuschalten. Nicht nur nervig, dadurch teilweise schlecht lesbar und den Spaß am Lesen verderbend. Bitte unbedingt nachbessern!

Agree with others that the changing backgrounds is annoying as hell. Also if you click on an item, the fb and twitter option pops up but there seems to be no interface to actually post anything. Not good

I checked out four history apps, and this one by far is the best.  The changing backgrounds do hamper my old eyes from reading with ease.  I think a simple fix 'might' be enabling the reader to change the size of the font.  Thank you....

ich hätte erwartet, dass der Besitzer die Hoheit hat, ob und welche historischen Begebenheiten angezeigt werden und viel wesentlicher, eigene viel wichtigere Tage aus der Geschichte eingetragen werden können. Quasi ein eigener Geschichtskalender. Viele der vorhandenen Einträge interessieren nicht, und interessante Einträge aus der Sicht des Käufers der App fehlen.

The calendar should have a year. When you pick today it shows Sunday June 24, 2018 as a Tuesday. It doesn’t appear it has been update since 2011. It was a waste of the .99. Money that could have used to buy another app. Keep the free one and deal with the ads. I was I did.

Der ständig wechselnde Hintergrund macht dich beim Lesen irre. Das sollte der Nutzer selbst einstellen können ob er das möchte. Haben muss man die Geschichtsapp aber nicht.

Endlich auch mal in deutscher Sprache. Bisher nutzte ich eine Englischsprachige. Da ist sehr viel Information geboten und durch die eingebundenen Links kann man ganz einfach weiter Infos abrufen. Auch die Einteilung in Themenbereiche ist gut für die Übersichtlichkeit. Für mich eine klare Empfehlung und 0,99 Euro sind mehr als fair! Danke!

I like this app a lot and am happy to purchase it over the free version. I wish there was a way to browse by any date of the year though. Still a very cool app that I enjoy opening daily.

Bitte bringen Sie noch mehr internationale Ereignisse ein.
Schön wäre auch, wenn man die Ereignisse nach Kategorien ordnen lassen kann oder bestimmte Kategorien wie Länder auswählen kann, die einen mehr interessieren.
Und gut wäre, wenn die Lesbarkeit für Senioren angepasst werden kann (Schriftgrösse und Größe der Schaltflächen und einfarbiger Hintergrund)
