First, it would be nice if you could see the actual location name of the map to identify location location of those questions we got wrong. Also a brief pop up option with more information about the historical event would be awesome. ### 3/5 — Their city one has better permissions *2024-08-09* 5 stars for their city geo app, 3 stars for this version, because this one has permissions to track your data, and I don’t like that. Their city app currently says no data collected. The game play is simple and fun, whoever- guess and place a flag, if it correct/ very near, a green flag will be placed to show you got it right; if you are wrong you can keep trying or even view a hint and then try again. Fun, no ads. On connaît certains événements mais les situer sur une carte planétaire est beaucoup plus complexe…. ### 5/5 — Addictive *2024-08-08* I downloaded History Geo Guesser and its sister app City Geo Guesser and found them both to be somewhat addictive. I have absolutely no idea what the rules are—or even if any rules exist. You are given an historical event (say, the signing of the Magna Carta in 1215) and a blank world map and your task is to plant a flag near the location in which it occurred. I don’t know how close to the actual site the flag must land to be regarded as a correct guess, but there seems to be a reasonable margin for error. That’s it. The game is strangely satisfying if you’re correct and annoying when you’re not.
