### 5/5 — Everything right here

*2024-08-13*

Thousands of videos on firearms history, engineering and more with different creators and categories to search through. All right in front of you and easy to use

### 5/5 — Better than you tube

*2024-08-07*

I’m a fan of Ian and Forgotten Weapons, so it was an obvious decision. Especially since you tube has taken such an anti-free-speech stance. This is an excellent app. I am also really enjoying the new shows. Great fun, and interesting.

### 5/5 — Everything in one Place

*2024-07-23*

Finally can get out of big tech for my favorite firearms educators.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2024-07-17*

I get all the videos from my favorite creators.

### 5/5 — Just what the history buff ordered!

*2024-06-22*

Love this App, can watch my favorite forgotten weapons host and his awesome content from fellow weapons and history gurus any time. Here on cell phone or on television. Myself ? Middle aged, Hobbyist that lives in a free state. Cost ? Well it’s great value and worth it. No bad advertising, no filler just the good stuff you want. Very grateful. Nick

### 5/5 — 90% of what you want from YouTube gun content without ads.

*2024-06-07, version 8.500.1*

Does more need to be said?

### 5/5 — Great compilation without the ads

*2024-05-22, version 8.500.1*

I watched one of these “channels” on YouTube and was glad to be able to get away from that platform and also find more channels with similar interests. There are some great vids on here. The interface isn’t as smooth as the big platforms but it hasn’t prevented me from finding things just a little clunky. I especially like that they do themes sometimes across channels. Lets you explore different aspects of the subject as each creator has their own style, approach, and expertise.

### 5/5 — Awesome platform

*2024-05-05*

So glad Ian and company decided to launch this. Love watching the content ad free. Also great to see videos that the big tech dbags can not block. Wish more creators would join. Thank you Ian for giving us all
A alternative. Keep up the good work!

### 5/5 — Fantastic content and well organized

*2024-04-18*

It’s really well organized, I appreciate how many categories you can search by such as country, type of weapon platform, and channel

### 5/5 — My mini review

*2024-04-05*

I’ve really enjoyed the diversity of weapons covered. Lots of them I’d never seen before. Excellent writers that manage to touch all the bases. Excellent production and filming. I highly recommend.

### 5/5 — Very informative

*2024-01-31*

I’m very pleased to have an option to view this kind of content without having to support an oppressive platform.

### 5/5 — Everything in one Place

*2024-01-18*

Finally can get out of big tech for my favorite firearms educators.

### 5/5 — I like it but…

*2024-01-18, version 8.321.1*

I sure hope that development continues for the app. Maybe a comment feature maybe actually putting links cited in the video in the description. Simple features. Overall glad to get away from YouTube and Playuer.

### 5/5 — Very nice app

*2024-01-17, version 8.321.1*

Much better for binge watching than YT

### 5/5 — Fantastic content

*2024-01-10*

It’s really well organized and from quality content providers

### 5/5 — Great app

*2024-01-02, version 8.321.1*

It’s a great app for forgotten weapons viewers as you get to see videos not allowed on youtube.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 3/5 — Fine, but missing Forgotten Weapons content

*2023-11-27, version 8.321.1*

I’m a big Forgotten Weapons fan, and moved my subscription to this app from Floatplane to support Ian directly and also because I was curious about the other content makers. The others are a bit hit and miss for me (like Bloke on the Range and Royal Armouries, not really interested in Cap and Ball or British Muzzle Loaders). Would be amazing if they got C&Rsenal, who I know Ian has worked with before, to sign up.

My big issue, however, is that the app does not feature all of the FW content which is on YouTube and the other paid channels, and even those videos which it does feature often seem to turn up days later. At first I thought this might be me so I raised a support ticket (no response more than a week later), but it’s a continuing issue. I really resent paying and not getting content which I then have to watch the YouTube ads to see.

In fairness the app works well, so no complaints there. If you are interested I’d suggest taking a month’s subscription and seeing if the nonFW content is sufficient to justify the price for you. Personally I’ll be moving back to Floatplane, and subscribing to the couple of other channels I like on YouTube for when I’m in the mood.

### 4/5 — Love the discoverability of other channels but would love more exclusive content

*2024-08-05, version 8.500.1*

First of all, I am very happy to support such great content creators through this app. I have discovered at least two new channels which I now watch regularly.

The search function is very useful and easy to use, providing mostly related videos.

Though I am happy to support the creators on this platform, I would prefer to see some more exclusive content. This is because most of what these creators do is free on YouTube.

Thanks for everything and keep up the good work

### 4/5 — Great streaming

*2024-02-17, version 8.321.1*

Good content and the video playback is nice and smooth

### 4/5 — Good start

*2023-12-29, version 8.321.1*

Good start, but would like to see more material that is nit available on YouTube, such as detailed build videos.

### 4/5 — A solid and reliable platform

*2023-10-28, version 8.321.1*

I’m very happy to have a reliable and ergonomic platform to support many of the firearms and history content creators that I enjoy. I only hope they add more creators such as Paper Cartridges. As well as more purely historical content beyond firearms. The guns are the main reason I’m here but this really can be a haven for the content that is wrongly penalised for its subject matter. It’s absolutely worth £8 or $10 a month.

### 4/5 — Awesome, but I wish it worked with LG

*2023-10-05*

The only criticism I have, is that I wish it was available on the LG store. Works on all my devices except my main tv as it’s an LG smart tv.

### 4/5 — Very detailed compendium of firearms history.

*2023-09-23*

Each of the channels brought together and curated here are a wonderfully symbiotic addition to one another. From the practical use perspective, all the way to conservation of valuable collectibles, each channel brings good information and varied perspectives. My only question is why aren’t captions available, some of us older gun enthusiasts lived prior to the extensive adoption of PPE and have the resulting hearing loss associated with that experience. Machine tools, weapons fire, and military service account for a great deal of my over 70% hearing loss and resulting tinnitus.

Overall worth every dime spent, and I heartily support each of these channels for the important work they have curated herein!

### 4/5 — Amazing

*2023-09-23, version 8.321.1*

….because YouTube doesn’t deserve our $$

### 5/5 — It was a good run

*2025-09-12*

Thanks for all your efforts in sharing knowledge and entertaining.

### 5/5 — Awesome platform

### 5/5 — Excellent content

*2025-06-06, version 9.101.1*

I am quite enjoying the content that is available here. I especially like seeing the whole video on topics which have a reloading portion. As new creators join this platform will just get better . Keep up the good work .

The commies at Google have made YouTube an unfun, work, “ignorance is strength” Utopia. Join this Streaming Service for some American Freedom!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

### 5/5 — Great app

*2025-01-04*

I really enjoy not only the shooting but the more in depth working of the firearms and reloading that TY won’t allow. Well worth the monthly payment.

### 5/5 — Fantastic historical firearm content , free of censorship

*2024-10-07, version 8.801.1*

Download it, and support firearms history content creators!

### 5/5 — Great app but…

*2024-09-23*

Great app, love the content. I just wish there was a way to sort content by newest to oldest on each channel (easiest to keep up with new videos on channels I like). The “sort by date released” only shows oldest to newest.
