Can I just pay for it? ### 2/5 — Locks up Frequently *2025-05-19* I like the game. The questions are challenging and interesting. BUT, at the end of an ad that requires you to click on a button in top right corner (iOS) that says continue (with a play symbol next to it), you can’t get past it. You have to close the app, then start the round all over, and over, and over. Even if you answer all questions correctly, you don’t get your rewards, because you have to close the app and start over. This takes all the fun and wanting to play the game away. Though, when I don’t know the answer to a question I want to be able to know what it is without spending the in-game currency. The currency is a bit annoying to get and if I spent it every time I got a wrong answer I would run out rather soon. A huge fundamental in learning is being able to know your mistakes so you can work to fix them. I can understand why you have to pay to see your mistakes but I find it unnecessary. ### 3/5 — Wrong answer - Incas / Aztecs *2023-02-09* Call me fussy if you want but I do like quiz apps to be factually correct. Q: which of these was a great South American empire that flourished in the Middle Ages? A: Incas The Inca empire was centred in Peru and ruled most of the west coast of South American from 1400s until Spanish arrived. This app says it is the Aztecs but they were in Mexico which is Central America. Does not offer an ad-free paid version. Had to delete after two hours when the play-to-ad times was 50-50. Ridiculous ads for stupid games not even remotely related to history. ### 1/5 — Promising but Failed Expectations *2021-06-01, version 1.2.0* There are not enough levels in this game. You get four very general topics (modern history, ancient history, etc), 15 levels each. In total, there are roughly 600 or so questions. There should be more specific categories, for example: modern Asian history or American history. We should also have many more levels than 15. Truly disappointing app. ### 1/5 — Inappropriate Advertisements *2021-01-05* It was a simple enough trivia game that is supported by ads. While that part was fine, though rudimentary, some of the ads were wholly inappropriate. One was King’s something: Game of Lust. I was luckily playing with me 8 year old when this came up and was able to end though it did show up with two partially nude maidens with a game of choice of size versus skill. These are the reasons to avoid these types of ad supports apps/games. Would recommend avoiding this as well and it should be labeled for mature audiences only. ### 1/5 — Not good app *2020-04-14, version 1.0.2* It gives me blank pages after few questions. I can’t get past Level 4 on Middle Ages or Level 3 on Modern History without getting a blank page and losing all the points I had accumulated. I tried deleting the app and downloaded again, but lost everything and had to start from Level 1 again, only to have the same thing happen. Clearly this app needs to go back to the drawing board. But a minor issue… *2024-06-26* I am some of a history buff and love learning about it. I got this app because I thought it could help me learn and because I am going on a 3 week trip and hoped it wouldn’t require internet for the ten hour flight. I tried it before hand and it is awesome! It gives accurate feedback and keeps your score for each level. But a minor issue is that it doesn’t explain something if you got it wrong. For example, if it asked me ‘True or False: Joseph Stalin was Chairman/Secretary of the USSR.’ (Sorry if this is inaccurate). If you chose false, it doesn’t explain the backstory which personally I would like. You can pay in game money to see the correct answer but it will only say ‘true’ with no further explanation. I do ask they put in something more like ‘True! Lenin gave him the job and that’s how he escalated to becoming a future USSR dictator’. My oldest kid, Olivia always is up for a test or quiz so what I do is I download History Quiz for her and boom! She's done with the Modern History without a problem. Meanwhile my middle kid also likes quizzes but she prefer making books on google slides. This makes me frustrated because she doesn't make prehistoric books. My middle kid, Ashley, LOVES prehistoric history. So I go download History Quiz on her IPAD and she goes to Prehistoric Quiz and masters it. Then my youngest kid doesn't like any type of History except for the Middle Ages. So I download History Quiz for her and She masters the Middle Ages section and she played it over and over again. Then we have my husband. He likes all type of History. I told him to download History Quiz and he finished everything in just 4 hours!!!! Then we have me. I am a History teacher and I love teaching Prehistoric, Middle Ages, and Modern History. So I told my High school kids to download History Quiz on their phones because it will probably help them study. Thank you creators of this game.
