This journal was the first to which I ever subscribed, having first learned to love it many years ago thanks to the encouragement of my father-in-law, one of the two weekly book-reviewers for the New York Times. The essays are invariably interesting, well-written, and enjoyable. I learn a lot but also have fun. As scholar of the Renaissance I find myself learning lots and lots about other periods and the intellectual expansion is a pleasure. Don’t stop!
