No rote memorizing: at the end of every round, the answer screen shows you exactly where and when it all happened. General knowledge and historical geography sink in, round after round.

A new chapter begins! In this version:

• The Daily Riddle no longer counts towards the weekly leaderboard: play it just for fun — the podium is now earned in regular rounds.
• Fairer dating: when an event spans several years, the margin now covers the whole displayed period. No more right answers rejected by a whisker!
• Clearer periods on the timeline: "46 av. → 309" — the arrow replaces the dash, goodbye ambiguous dates.
• Various display fixes for the WHEN timeline.

• Starting an enigma showed a blank screen when "Reduce Motion" was enabled in iOS settings — fixed: your 3 cards now appear instantly.
