## What is HistorySphere?

HistorySphere lets you discover the past right where you are. Open the map to see verified historical sites and curated events around you. Tap a marker to read a short, reliable summary with dates, sources, and images. Save favorites, search by keyword, and use the timeline slider to explore any era.

What you can do:

See historical markers and notable events near your location on an interactive map

Read concise, sourced summaries with images and links

Search by people, places, battles, and themes

Save favorites and revisit them later

Filter by time period with a simple timeline slider

Get featured content from partner museums and historical societies (more coming)

Coming soon:

AR previews and guided tours (we’re holding AR for a post-MVP update so we can ship faster)

Privacy & data:

Location is used to show nearby sites; you can use the app without granting location by browsing the map manually

You control notifications in Settings

We don’t sell your data

Subscriptions & payments:

HistorySphere offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions that unlock premium content and features as they’re released

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase

Subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period

Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in Account Settings on your device
