Being that each round only takes about 20 seconds to play, I find myself now opening the game to play one round then closing right back out, as opposed to the 5-15 rounds at a time that I used to play. It’s the difference between binge-watching a show episode-after-episode or (now) watching a 30-minute show that’s 19 minutes of ads. However, this only removes the short ads in between levels — the long ads in between replays are still there. Not great value, and absolutely not clear before purchase. I like the designs and the simplicity of the game mechanics, but the ads are ridiculous. Literally after every round there’s an ad, and regardless of me clicking the x in the top right corner, it still brings me to the internet or the App Store because of how small they make the x. It’s annoying and it makes me not want to play the game.
