### 5/5 — Love it!

*2018-11-14, version 2.042*

My son plays football, rugby, basketball, baseball, and wrestles and I love how easy and convenient this is. This app allows for a true baseline instead of some individual who doesn’t know my son to help evaluate him. He needed it once for a hit. The app was easy to use for both him and me.

### 4/5 — Snowboarding

*2018-11-07, version 2.042*

The HitCheck app is great for our sport of Snowboarding because I can do a quick check on the hill or in the lodge if I suspect a concussion. And then call Ski Patrol to assist if the app indicates a concussion. The kids love it, cuz they always want to get a high score on the games."

### 5/5 — Needed in Every Locker Room!

*2018-11-07, version 2.042*

As someone who played football for about 12 years, this is a must have app in every locker room of a contact sport. Nothing before has there been something as quick and comprehensive as HitCheck. We know more about concussions and the lasting effects they can have, and now it’s time to use this technology to assist trainers and medical personnel to get real time results on the field. Great app!!!

### 5/5 — Great app for coaches and teams.

*2018-11-06, version 2.042*

This is a game changer. Highly recommend for every sports team out there no matter the level of contact. Great product!

### 5/5 — Fantastic product for youth player safety

*2018-11-06, version 2.042*

I run the largest youth sports organization in Nevada and we purchased HitCheck for every player in all of our sports. We run Tackle Football, Flag Football, Soccer, Baseball, Cheer, and more! We find it effective for our coaches and parents and a great way to keep players safe! This is a great tool for parents and coaches alike.

### 5/5 — Based on solid evidence

*2018-11-06, version 2.042*

It’s so great to see that this app is designed to reflect the latest evidence on concussion diagnosis in a format that is easy and quick to use. As a physician I would certainly recommend this to parents or coaches as key first responders to injuries suffered during sports or play.

### 5/5 — Easy and effective

*2018-11-06, version 2.042*

Super easy to use for kids of all ages. I wish this was around when I was playing sports as a kid. Knowing what we know now, there is really no reason for coaches and leagues not to use HitCheck.

### 5/5 — Amazing App

*2018-11-06, version 2.042*

We run one of the largest youth football programs in the country with thousands of kids and we’re extremely happy to have implemented this app into our programs. It’s not a daunting task at all as the kids enjoy the games without realizing the potential benefits to their coaches and parents. The staff makes it easy to get the teams on the app and then it becomes a vital detection tool for determining a potential concussion right on site. We definitely recommend it to any organization that has an emphasis on player safety.

### 5/5 — Incredible!!!

*2018-11-05, version 2.042*

Exactly what youth sports need right now! Every youth team should use this amazing tool.

### 5/5 — Mandatory Concussion Care for every coach, athlete and parent

*2018-11-05, version 2.042*

Concussion is an insanely difficult condition to diagnose. As a result far too many athletes are returning to play or train when they need rest. By placing a tool in the hands of every coach HitCheck offers powerful insight that every injured athlete deserves. Asking an injured player to count ‘how many fingers do you see’ or recite the day of the week are grossly inadequate because the treating adult, no matter how well intentioned does not know which area of the brain might be swelling. By establishing a baseline for every athlete and allowing for immediate attention at the location of injury HitCheck helps guide an informed decision about that child’s health. No other method delivers this level of care without special medical training. It’s the ideal supplementing every responsible coach requires and every caring parent or athlete should demand.

### 5/5 — Great for my sons Pop-Warner team

*2018-11-05, version 2.042*

My sons Pop-Warner team uses hit-check as baseline test for concussions and it has worked great for the organization for the last two year. I highly recommend trying this out for a individual or for a team, simple and easy to use.

### 5/5 — Big HitCheck fan

*2018-11-05, version 2.042*

As a soccer dad, HitCheck is a great concussion assessment to have on the sideline, empowering coaches and trainers to make better informed, real-time decisions.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — SCAM

*2026-02-17, version 3.0.3*

CAN’T CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION AND THEY DON’T RESPOND TO EMAIL. CHARGING ME $80 YEARLY AND NO WAY TO STOP IT!

### 1/5 — Does not work

*2020-03-21, version 2.0.48*

The practice test is a blank screen. The registration requires too much personal info. And the account activation link was never sent.

### 1/5 — App doesn’t work

*2020-02-12, version 2.0.48*

The app goes blank screen a few screens after start. May be great if it worked.

### 1/5 — Doesn't work

*2020-01-10, version 2.0.48*

Not a single practice tests works. Just a blank screen. Now my head hurts worse.

### 1/5 — Won’t even activate

*2019-12-23, version 2.0.48*

I can’t get logged in as it keeps telling me my account needs to be activated even though I activated via the text message and twice through the email link. Frustrating.

### 1/5 — Won’t open or login when I need it

*2019-12-07, version 2.0.48*

Been trying to login to test for a concussion for about an hour. It would be nice to test my daughter when I require it.

### 1/5 — Not FDA authorized

*2019-10-03, version 2.0.48*

This app is being marketed as a concussion diagnosis tool (it’s in the title) but it has not received any authorization by the FDA and so the publisher is at risk of being sanctioned by the FDA. I expect that they will be receiving a warning letter from the FDA very soon.

### 1/5 — BEWARE - Horribly Inaccurate

*2019-05-08, version 2.042*

Great app to fake being cleared for a concussion! Absolutely horrible for real safety and the industry. I could be horribly impaired with a serious head injury and still score 100 on every test.

Reaction time results are in intervals of .1 seconds (or 100ms) whereas any sort of brain injury would affect your reaction time at a MUCH lower interval. Not to mention I received a “.5 second reaction time” when my (and any other person in the 20-40 age range) reaction time is actually around 170-220 milliseconds.

I can actually jump around on one foot and score a 100 on the balance test.

Very unsafe to consider this a concussion or head injury tool.

### 1/5 — Disappointment

*2016-02-21, version 1.0.5*

Was very excited to get this app, seeing as I work in an environment where concussions are frequent and we have been searching for a quick concussion test that can be administered on the field. But upon opening the app, I was confused to find that the app simply contained the website, no actual tests. There was only information about the tests and a link to "get the app" (which didn't work, either). Clearly something is wrong. I am extremely disappointed because the app initially looked and sounded great; I thought I had found my solution.

### 1/5 — Amateurish

*2016-01-23, version 1.0.2*

Could not get past registration that requires excessive personal info--beeare

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — This app changed my life

*2023-08-15, version 2.0.213*

This app saved me and my dog and my husband from drowning in the Nile river.

### 5/5 — Already Proven

*2019-05-25, version 2.042*

When I picked up my grandson from school he told me he fell from the monkey bars at lunch and landed on his head. He was complained of pain and was sent to the office, ice pack was provided for about 30 mins and he returned to class. He told me all he could think about was his HitCheck baseline on his cell at home that he was grounded from. We went straight home and took a follow up test, he had one red flag. Talked to his parents who were not notified by the school and decided to rest and retake the test next morning. He sent me the second test at 8 am, three red flags. Called a Right Eye provider, did a read, “doc said train wreck”, scored an aggregate of 15 out of 100, went straight to HBOT clinic Thursday afternoon. 1st treatment provided immediate relief from headache. Slept great Thursday night. Friday am took the HitCheck, 2 red flags. Went straight back to HBOT, it was suggested to return Friday 6 hrs after the AM HBOT for a 3rd HBOT. Last HitCheck test was beyond the original baseline test. What an assessment tool! We are educating the school system about our story.

### 5/5 — Must have for concussion protocol!

*2019-05-25, version 2.042*

Love this technology! It’s affordable, easy to set up and set the baseline! This should be part of every coaching/training staff from “little league” to high school! Great app, great product for our collective community!

### 5/5 — Great App! Highly recommend

*2019-05-25, version 2.042*

As an athlete who has been out of the game for a couple years now, I can honestly say that I wish something like this were around when I was playing. This app puts the power into the players hands,(literally on your phone) and gives feedback on the field. It is a change for the better for concussion protocol.

### 5/5 — Awesome App for Athletes and Beyond

*2018-11-18, version 2.042*

User friendly, great for all ages, quick and effective.

### 5/5 — Amazing App for an important cause

*2018-11-14, version 2.042*

I started playing tackle football when I was 6 years old and have applied the learnings from such a great sport to all aspects of my life. Even with this love of the game, I fear my children playing the sport because of all the concussions happening and the negative effect it has on your life. It gives me comfort knowing there are companies like hitcheck out there with the vision to make sports safer and give schools the ability to detect signs of a concussion before allowing any more damage to happen. Been following this company for a while and am excited to see all the progress made. Great product, great team and great cause. Highly recommend
