## What is Hitherto?

"Hitherto hath the LORD helped us." Samuel set up a stone so Israel would remember. Hitherto is that stone for your prayers.

Promising to pray for someone is easy. Remembering to, day after day, is hard. And when a prayer is answered, the details fade. Hitherto helps with both.

PRAY TODAY
• Today shows who's on your list, and nothing else
• One card at a time: read it, pray, tap Prayed
• A few minutes, then done for the day

EVERY PRAYER ON ITS OWN RHYTHM
• Every day, on chosen days, or once a week
• Group prayers by person: Mom, a friend, your small group, yourself
• Add details so you remember exactly what to pray for

REMEMBER HOW GOD ANSWERED
• Mark a prayer answered and write down what happened
• Answers gather in a timeline, month by month
• See how long you prayed: "Prayed 41 times over 9 weeks"
• Keep praying about something that's still open, or close it gently

QUIET AND PRIVATE
• A daily reminder that names who's on today's list, and stays silent on empty days
• Home Screen and Lock Screen widget; names are hidden when the app is locked
• Lock with Face ID
• Syncs through your private iCloud. No account, no ads, no AI, no social feed
• Export everything as text, or delete it all, any time

Hitherto now works on iPad, with a comfortable reading column and full-size sheets. New: prayer opens right after you add your first person, a gentle welcome back after a few days away, and a calmer Amen at the end. Plus small fixes and polish throughout.
