I enjoyed the old app more as it had way more shows. I don’t particularly like to stream shows on a small screen, who the heck watches 1 hour long shows on a cell phone at home??! The app won’t allow for casting to the tv set. On an iPhone you would have to open the HITV phone app and AirPlay it onto the tv. The suckiest part is that the subtitles WILL NOT show this way. It had TONS of k-dramas that I could not find anywhere else with subtitles. The content felt endless. I had to make a list to keep track. Now, it’s not showing me any k-dramas AT ALL. If I try to filter to a specific region, South Korea doesn’t even come up. I tried to just stick with the old app but it’s starting not to work that well now, probably to push everybody into switching to this app. Also, dramas that it shows on its website through a web browser are not appearing in the app. For example, I’ve been trying to watch the first 2 episodes of Arthdal Chronicles: Sword of Aramun for the past several days. It’s there on the hitv website when you are using a browser (in this case, I used Brave). However, when I go into the app to look for it, nothing shows up. AT ALL. Which makes ZERO sens.
