They just don’t test!!! They rush new features, new apps, but just refuse to put in the time and effort to do even the basic tests. Here’s a direct example: they made this whole new fancy app. Downloaded it, logged, looks nicer. The first screen is the Home Screen with all my tasks. The basic sorting DOESNT WORK. It tries to sort by date but everything with no date is sorted at the top. EVERY OTHER interface for their system puts this at the bottom. The inconsistency right on the first screen is glaring. TEST YOUR SOFTWARE. DOGFOOD IT! This is a pattern with their culture. Just not careful. If you really want to get ahead, just focus on execution. So frustrating. ### 2/5 — Glitchy, notifications still don’t work *2025-03-28* The app freezes while trying to send messages. There is still an issue with receiving notifications to a mobile device, which has been ongoing for months and wasn’t resolved with a new app. Quite disappointed. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Doesn’t boot anymore *2026-04-01* This app hasn’t been able to boot up successfully for me for nearly a year. What’s going on? ### 1/5 — Broken on iPad *2026-03-23* Login page does not use full screen it shrinks to the top right corner. SSO login button does not do anything even after filling in email address, it lights up but is not responsive. Trying to use website just forces you back into the app which does not work. If that is bypassed by using an SSO URL the website does not work either, actions do not load. Hive seems to just not want to work on iPad at all. ### 1/5 — Doesn't load projects, notifications, anything. *2026-02-20* The app opens, but is stuck on the loading screen, does not work anymore. ### 1/5 — App does not launch *2026-01-23* On my iPad running iOS 26.2 the app gets no further than the splash screen at start up. I couldn’t even find a sign up/new account option with Hive!! The other app seamlessly walked me through setup. I deleted Hive immediately ### 2/5 — So many many bugs *2026-06-22* They keep breaking this app. Used to be ok, now full of bugs. They still can’t seem to simply sort by date. App just crashes now when I try to see the full list of tasks. They just need to spend more time making a quality product instead of adding new features. ### 2/5 — Mobile App not opening *2026-03-24* Lately I am finding that the mobile app does not open for me nor am I promoted for lost/new password. This sucks because am not able to produce work on the go. Please fix. ### 2/5 — Broken again *2026-02-28, version 1.0.21* Some sort of update months ago broke the main my actions view and it’s still not fixed. I doubt anyone at this company even uses their own app or else they would have noticed how broken it is. If you try and see all my actions, it shows some unsorted grid mess. This company seems to never get sorting right. I picked it because they have integrated chat. That’s the best feature….but it’s a super buggy platform and they don’t seem to care about fixing the issues. The main issue I’ve always had is inconsistent notifications. Desktop notifications never work. Mobile notifications sometimes work but usually not. As off this comment it’s been a month since they last worked. Whenever I reach out to support they act like it’s on my end even though my entire team experiences the same problem. I’m not sure how much longer I can use Hive based on this. ### 3/5 — Better *2026-02-09* I have been using this app for about 3 years. It is consistently getting better.
