The owner of the app plays favorites with certain users. Has no professionalism at all. Encourages girls to post nudity pictures of themselves. I have screenshots of him calling people profane words. Needs to be reviewed ASAP ### 1/5 — Lacks fairness, lacks anonymity *2019-05-18, version 1.1.0* The app owner seems to be the only “mod” but he’s an absolute joke. Zero impartiality. The app owner uses the app himself and has his favorite users so how could he possibly moderate? There are rules for the app but they only apply to the users that the app owner wants them to apply to. Yik yak became popular because of the ability to anonymously post things and you can’t do that with this app. Mandatory handles. There are about 15 active users. Skip yourself the trouble and do not download this garbage. ### 4/5 — Social App With Potential *2019-05-18, version 1.1.0* This app has a small following with several topics to post in. It has both a local feed and a global feed so you kind of get the best of both worlds. The users are pretty cool. The worst you see is drama but you’ll be fine if you don’t get involved. Please report this app for “harassment and abusive content” this app needs to be taken DOWN!!! This also means the app is heavily favored towards people he likes. Not only is that annoying but there seems to a spew of everything hateful attached to this individual. Avoid them and their app at all costs. Now I see why developers of Yik Yak and other apps don't use their own app. At first, I thought the reviews were from angry trolls that were banned but they are legit. He throws around banning people for disagreeing or having different opinions of his favorite users and definitely favors female users more even when they're obviously wrong some of them are racist but he does nothing. Its definitely not a left or right wing. Its gotten more balanced in terms of politics. We mostly just post for fun. Many of us treat it like twitter but its not as toxic. I believe in Hivedaddy! -Rode ### 5/5 — Pretty cool app *2021-02-03, version 1.2.1* This app is cool yo, like a small little community of anonymous people as of writing this review. There might not be much in terms of a local feed for many of us, the global feed is popping with people around the US and around the word! A lot of us have used apps like these in the past so some of us are already familiar with each other. We have some great honey bees in the hive, and not so great wasps that will probably leave a bad review because they broke the app rules. We don’t discriminate anyone here, so if you feel oppressed because of your views, this might be a you problem and not an app problem. Everyone here is really cool and friendly. We do have arguments from time to time but are all still friends. Mostly. Got something on your mind? While we do have the occasional troll, we still have genuine people here that would definitely like to respond and help, even start conversations. Memes are always welcome here so if you like to post a funny meme you saw but don’t really have people in the real world to share them with, this is your app! It seems the app has an issue of not having enough users so the most active user tend to direct the feed. If you want the feed to be active, you see lots of weird people with political agendas and young user who just don’t know how to articulate themselves properly. So the feed can be somewhat off putting, but at the same time it has its own charm. Also lots of people just treating like a dating app. This is a very common problem among local feed apps and it just really turns you off from using it.
