Hivemind is an anonymous, location-based social platform where you can share moments with people nearby - without the noise of traditional social media. NO PROFILES. NO FOLLOWERS. NO ALGORITHM. See what's happening around you in real-time. Share thoughts, images, and experiences with your local community while staying completely anonymous. HOW IT WORKS Location-Based Feed Set your radius from 1km to 50km and see posts from people in your area. Your precise location is never shared - only approximate distance is shown. True Anonymity No profiles, no followers, no likes chasing. Just share what's on your mind without the pressure of building a personal brand; then react to things other people have shared! Verified to Post Complete a quick identity verification to unlock posting. This keeps the community safe while your identity remains private. Unverified users can still browse. Real Conversations Comment and engage with your neighbors. No algorithm decides what you see - just chronological posts from real people nearby. If a post gets engagement, it jumps back to the top. Share Your Way Post text, images and videos, polls, share links, and more! Use the built-in image tools and caption editor (read as: meme generator) to create and share creative content. Swipe up, or turn the crown past the end of the list, for current conditions, the high and low, feels-like, and the full wording of any weather alert. • Tapping the Weather complication now opens that page every time, including when the app has to start cold. • Feed reliability: the 30-second reload loop is gone, the gap above the first post is fixed, and paging to older posts now says when there is nothing more. ### 2.3.0 — 2026-08-27 • Apple Watch app - see what's happening around you right from your wrist • Nearby posts and Weather/Snow-day complications for your watch face • Bug fixes and performance improvements ### 2.2.0 — 2026-08-17 What's new in 2.2: • Local news in your feed — a digest of what's being reported around you, in your language, with a tap to read the full story or open a discussion about it. • Shared hivemind links now open straight in the app — tap a post link anywhere and land right on the post. • Weather alerts now follow where you actually are, instead of where you last were. • Notification badges update instantly when you read, clear, or delete notifications. • Clearer feedback everywhere: if a comment, edit, or vote doesn't go through, the app now tells you instead of quietly pretending it worked. • Permission prompts include an Open Settings shortcut when access was previously turned off. • Saved images no longer consume permanent storage on your device. • Face ID unlock now prompts reliably when returning to the app. • A lighter, faster app with smoother gestures and dozens of reliability fixes under the hood. ### 1.7.1 — 2026-06-10 What's new: • Choose how photos appear in your feed — fit, fill, or original aspect ratio — right from Preferences.
