Very bad ! ### 1/5 — 商戶騙子平台 *2025-12-28, version 4.10.0* DO NOT JOIN AS A MERCHANT, they are SUPER TRICKY!!! HKTVmall recruited us as merchant earlier this year saying our fee could be used as advertising on their platform during contractual period - in the end only 80% of it was usable and only within 2025 while we signed February 2025 and our contract doesn’t expire until February 2026. Their customer service is absolutely horrible, they were very helpful prior to us joining. Once we have joined, assistance was only available during our first month then almost non-existence. When we tried to reach for help, their customer service bounced us from one department to another. Till now, no resolution! There was no email notification about orders, so we didn’t know if there was an order from customer. Hence, orders were cancelled and HKTVmall charges us administrative fee for per cancelled order - THAT they did not notify us of and is faulty of their system. Since then, they just kept asking us for money and renewed our membership for another year with a 2 days notice. If we are to cancel we have to make a decision and notify their online system 3 months prior to expiry. By the time I got to management and they made a decision not to continue I tried to contact HKTVmall customer service but their team was unhelpful, simply sent me a link to apply for cancellation while she knew I had to place a cancellation REQUEST 3 months prior to expiry - when they notify me 2 days prior to our 3 months. SUPER TRICKY! I tried to speak with an actual person but no one tried to help us. So now we’re stuck with them, required to pay for a not so helpful, not so many transaction platform and practically a scam! DO NOT REGISTER AS A MERCHANT WITH THEM, THEY ARE SUPER TRICKY!!! ### 1/5 — Poorly made app *2025-12-11, version 4.9.1* Very user unfriendly and poorly made app. I can’t even access the search bar to find something simple without getting thrown to another page of nonsense with some other unrelated products, then from where I have to keep pressing the go back ape to finally go back to the page with the search bar, but once I left the app and reopen I have to repeat the whole process again without being able to stay on the same page of search result. Even if the app keep asking me to update and I keep updating it’s still worse than ever ### 1/5 — Can’t use the app *2025-11-07, version 4.6.0* Couldn’t check out even after reaching out to CS. I tried to log out, uninstalled, and reinstalled the app, and log in again. I couldn’t even log in. I tried to register for a new account, couldn’t do that either. All this time I’ve been given a loading screen that won’t go on to the next page ### 1/5 — The new update is not working *2025-11-06, version 4.6.0* The page is loading all the time no matter which page I would like to visit. Once I shift to other App and come back, my previous landing page was completely gone and I have to start again. The page is responding super slow and the button simply don’t respond. I can search or buy any items. Very frustrating ### 2/5 — Terrible UI *2025-10-15, version 4.4.1* I actually love the service: great selection of goods and reliable delivery. But the user interface gets worse every time I open the app. There’s the unskippable ad livestreams which take up half the screen (and which discourage me from ordering those products specifically because of how noticeably low-effort and intrusive the ads are), and now I can’t even search for products on HKTVMall without going through Everuts first - in fact the app glitched and I can’t search for products on HKTVMall at all; it gets stuck on the Everuts request form. I had been eyeing luxury beauty products from Everuts before this, but after this experience I’ve just placed an order on a different site, as Everuts as a service feels cheap/scammy now. Please fix the UI or at least let users opt out of certain features. ### 1/5 — Super messy 勁亂個app *2025-10-05, version 4.3.0* It used to be a decent app, great service and nice packaging etc. I’ve been a supporter since the very very beginning, when there was even still TV productions on the app. Now, although the platform has gotten more efficient and has more services and products to offer, the app itself is super messy and cluttered, hard to navigate and most annoying is their marketing push notifications. Even though you select and pick out your interested topics only, there are still tonnes of irrelevant contents pushed to you. So I decided to turn off all setting from phone, which prevents me from seeing even delivery and crucial ones. So it’s super annoying, and now I don’t want to use it anymore. ### 1/5 — Terrible delivery service *2025-09-14, version 4.2.0* I was literally stayed in home to get the delivery but they keep pending the delivery due to no recipient. Sometimes when I quickly remember something I want to order in a hurry I am forced to watch two adverts on a timer. And when I have a delivery arriving I and am in a hurry to get the QR code me and the delivery man wait around for the annoying adverts to disappear. I only order for HKTV Mall using my PC now and use ParkNShop, Fortress and AliExpress for most things when I order using an app. Simply because the adverts are so excessive and annoying. I wonder if the HKTV Mall marketing department also considers how many people have STOPPED using the app because of the adverts, when they consider their profitability. ### 1/5 — I don’t have IOS 16 on my device so can’t use this App now *2025-05-30, version 3.8.5* I have been using the HKTVMall App since day 1. Been a loyal customer for so long, but now I can’t use the App anymore as it is only compatible with IOS 16. I am not going to buy a new phone just to use the HKTV Mall App. It’s just for shopping so why can’t you allow customers to use the older version of the App. I don’t need games or other annoying pop up ad features on the App, I just need to shop. Amazon’s shopping App still allows IOS version 15! I have contacted HKTV Mall customer service about this more than a month ago, but still nothing has been done. Firstly, products are not cheap here (using Taobao/JD/Amazon, are much better in products, cost, and variety). Secondly, their 8hr delivery is actually maybe 24 hrs later, never in the same day. Thirdly, to get support…forget it, they do not care about the customers, to speak to someone (doesn’t exist) to chat with someone on their “live agent” seems to be dead, that takes at minimum 30 min wait to have conversation. And all they’ll do is tell you how you’re wrong and how what you think doesn’t matter and refunds are non existence with them. Don’t buy into the membership, not worth it, and they will copy and paste how and why YOU’RE wrong, and they will NOT refund anything. This company is not worth investing and/or believing it’s worth having. HKTVMall is a great app which serves as an excellent platform for online shopping in Hong Kong. While its true that the pop up ads seem out of place and the notifications (which can be turned off), are certainly over used causing them to be ignored. The shopping platform continues to provide excellent service in the many ways I will describe below. Firstly the delivery service provided by the often young guys and girls is excellent, and I rank it as extremely high quality and professional and it keeps me coming back to use the app often. Secondly the good products that can be found at a discount and the good range of product types and sellers. Thirdly, the items are well packed and the effort that goes in to shipping the items in such a timely and careful way is really good. Fourthly, any issues I ever had got quickly resolved by the fast customer service, leaving a very stress free user experience. I expect I'll continue to use HKTVmall for years to come. I use it so often I reached Diamond VIP status, which shows how useful the service is. However, lately the app has become harder and harder to use due to all the lengthy ads that really get in the way of shopping. first there are pop up ads, then ads in search results that are irrelevant to my needs. Then came the videos.
