## What is HLX iT?

Monitor the status of your KiloVault lithium solar battery.

Using Bluetooth, this app enables you to get instantaneous readings of a bunch of otherwise hidden status information on your KiloVault lithium battery, such as:
* Voltage
* State of Charge (SOC)
* Capacity Remaining in Amp-Hours and %
* Temperature
* Cycle Life
among other features. 
We provide this app to help you or our technical support team troubleshoot the battery or to simply satisfy your curiosity on how your battery is doing. 
Limitations and minimum requirements that you should be aware of:
* It can only work with one battery at a time.
* Your iPhone or tablet must support Bluetooth 4.0 and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)
* The battery you are monitoring must be less than 16ft/5m away.
* If you want to monitor your battery with another phone, you'll need to exit this app on the first phone (a limitation of Bluetooth).

I’ve been using this app for 2 years. It is basic but it works.  It shows %battery charge and # of cycles.

Spent a long time trying to figure out how to use the app. Once I did, it’s been very useful. Using this app on an iPhone 6, iOS 11. Note: It won’t connect to the battery if another device is already connected (ie, another smartphone or tablet/iPad) and I didn’t need to get any special BLE apps to connect.
Basically you open the app, swipe down to refresh and wait for the battery to be recognized. Mine always says “disconnected” when it loads. Tap on the device and it should connect and display current charging conditions.
So simple and convenient to be able to monitor our usage and see current stats without fancy gadgets!
