I’m so happy there’s finally something in Green dialect. I can speak Hmong, but cannot read and write. I was expecting this app when I download and paid for. I was hoping it was able to read words that I’ve typed in to be translate back in hmong to me. Which the functionality does not work. What are app!! Waste of money!!! For the flashcards, it should be more user friendly for kids. My four year old can’t read yet, so she doesn’t know how to get to the flashcards and which category to pick. A simple picture of an animal will help. The colors is confusing because the actual color is not shown on top. Maybe separating Hmong green and white into different settings so the user can only learn one dialect versus having two choices. Though it’s probably a more difficult request, showing a video of a person’s mouth speaking will help learn. Other language learning apps I've tried don't offer Hmong, and I'm excited to have the chance to learn it. While I've learned Spanish, a bit of French, and even Chinese, Hmong is very different, and I've been disappointed that popular apps don't offer it. I've been wanting to learn Hmong White since meeting my boyfriend 4 years ago, but couldn't find it in any iOS apps. I'm so happy to find this app! It's simple and teaches the differences between Hmong Green and Hmong White. I love that there's no limit on how much I can learn in a day. In just an hour on the app, I can already see progress.
