## What is HMT Punjabi?

Due to overwhelming demand from parents, we have created an innovative learning platform designed especially for children who speak Punjabi at home but struggle with reading and writing it. Punjabi uses a completely different script than English, so we developed a structured, step-by-step method based on the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference) for Languages. To ensure every learner starts with a strong foundation, we introduced an exclusive beginner “A0” level, guiding children from basic letter recognition to advanced reading and writing skills.

Our app works entirely offline, ensuring your child’s privacy is fully protected while providing an uninterrupted learning experience. All processing happens directly on the device, and we never collect, store, or share any data.

Lessons and activities are arranged in a logical sequence. Each step must be mastered before moving to the next, ensuring a strong learning foundation. This method delivers structured progress at a fraction of the cost of traditional tutoring centers.

Our interactive letter tracing tool includes animated backgrounds inspired by the vibrant colors and themes of Punjab’s cities. This “love letter” to Punjab enhances engagement while reinforcing script learning.

The entire app is designed to function without an internet connection (except when accessing the Privacy Policy). This guarantees privacy, security, and a distraction-free learning environment. Not only does this app enable you or your child to read and write, but it also tells you progress levels, what needs improvement. 

I can’t believe the amount of work the developer has spent on creating a brand new Punjabi AI model - something never done before.

No we have an up to date, continuously developing tool to help our mother-tongue from dying out.
