But the one problem it has is that every year at the deadline it’s a 50/50 chance it’ll not load or crash. If you still play EA NHL and love Dynasty/Franchise mode, this is a deeper version of that with the only major difference being that you can’t actually play the games and it is a full simulation. You can watch the sim games if you choose. If you like playing as a GM (trades, scouting, staffing, statistics) this game is a must and absolutely pay for the upgraded version. But the game constantly freezes whenever you save, complete the free agency period or trade deadline. It causes the game to restart from the previous save point. I’ve had to restart over 20 seasons because of this. Game-winning goals just don’t go to the right person half the time 2. I had suggested the addition of fights - give a fighting stat 3. Make an Olympics every four years from the best of every nation during the winter. Make a World Cup after every season with only players from teams who didn’t make the playoffs during the spring/summer (like in the nhl). 4. More available countries for international events. 5. More attributes for goalies 6. Something like x-factors for players 7. Shorthanded goals and assists 8. Higher penalty minutes - league leader in Pims in real life can get up to 200-300. In game never gets higher than 80 or 90 pims 9. Minor league contracts that don’t count against the contract limit for your major league team 10. If teams can’t fill up the lineup of their minor leagues, automatically fill in those spots with unsigned free agents of an appropriate overall (like in nhl24 franchise mode). ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Older versions are better *2024-07-01, version 24.1.24* This game was more fun before they added in the medical staff. I wanna build hockey teams, not worry about who’s fixing the broke ankle. It’s not even worth paying. I prefer older versions of the game honestly. The new features are amazing! The only thing I would say is to add a waiver to NMC and NTC. Maybe have it be randomized so they don’t say yes every time and make it so you can only ask them to waive once a year. I find it hard to be able to rebuild or contend when you have a bad contract or star player you wanna trade for futures when you’re not allowed to trade the player. Other than that the game is absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend this to EVERY hockey fan.
