The only thing that bugs is that the offside calls don’t make sense (mind you I'm 11 and play hockey as a goalie) I feel like they just pass out offside calls to be annoying. If you want to be frustrated and have a game that’s only purpose is to take up storage space, this game is for you. Every time i get the puck and pass it it do not work I every time I see my thumb when I’m press pass but it do not work ### 4/5 — My favorite mobile hockey game *2021-12-30, version 1.6.4* I don’t normally write reviews but I actually play this frequently because I have basically every team and activity in the game. I have a suggestion for the outdoor series, how about making it ALL the teams not the Canadian teams? Or maybe making it like the nhl games by EA sports. Make the numbers like the actual numbers of every teams players? And maybe changing shifts on the fly? And putting the last names on the back of the jerseys? I recommend buying the most expensive purchase. You get unlimited energy so you can play it a lot and don’t have to wait! Best part, IT DOESN'T REQUIRE WI-FI! Another suggestion maybe add the high school and college teams!! (Also I found a way to score like quite a bit if you go against the boards come in and shoot it’s almost guaranteed to score if you would like to fix it) Maybe add a career series where you control one player not all of them! (Kinda like NHL be a pro series) or like chatting with your teammates! Just some suggestions. Overall I love this game and play it almost everyday. Unfortunately I have gotten so good at this game to the point where I have scored 41 goals on PRO difficulty.(if you don’t believe me check me history). So all I ask is to make a harder difficulty besides that this is a great game 👍. ### 4/5 — Good game *2021-01-18, version 1.6.4* This game is definitely really good, I like the gameplay and how the animations look when you pass and shoot for a goal. I only have two problems with this game, 1: the graphics. I know that this is a mobile game but still, I believe the graphics could be better, 2: the players. The players are pretty annoying when they won’t cross the blue line when I need to pass to them and I can’t fake out the goalie. Every now and then one player will get next to the goal but that doesn’t happen to often. Again this is a good game and I would like it if you took my complaints into consideration ### 5/5 — It’s extremely amazing *2020-04-02, version 1.6.3* You can play a face off hockey games you can play 1 60 games it’s 3D and totally extremely challenging but you’ll get the hang of it. if it makes you frustrated don’t get the game . But I love it despite the challenges. The owner only made for you to have fun. I like the live games too you get to play real people . And in face off games you get to choose you’re own team . Either world wise or American wise. I recommend you get this game. You can play the game standard or touch. The controls are easy to learn and get use to them. That’s why I rated this five stars ### 3/5 — Hockey *2020-04-02, version 1.6.3* I love how you created this game. I play hockey myself, so this is a real joyride. But as you can tell, I rated it 3 stars. None of this is out of hate, I just have some things to say. First of all, there are no girls in this game. I am a girl who plays hockey and I have learned to stick up for myself. I also have dreams of making it to the NHL as a girl. It hurts seeing only men involved in a sport I love. Like I said, hockey is my life. I have learned to be a total crap hole to boys who hate me, and then eventually they get to like me. Now I’m close friends with the boys on my team who treated me unfairly. Many times I have told myself, I can do this, and guess what... I’m still kicking and have been nominated captain at the age of 11 and I am a girl. I would just like to see girls is what I’m trying to say. Now time for a positive thing. I love how you took your time and made a hockey game. All you hear about on tv is football and basketball, never hockey. So thank you for taking your time to create a game for hockey people. So to sum it up, I love this game, the only thing I would add is females to inspire not only me, but every other girl in the world. I just want to see it happen. I’m only 11. ### 5/5 — Amazing!!!!! *2020-03-30, version 1.6.3* This game is the best hockey mobile game I’ve ever played. There’s not a lot of problems with this game but there is one major problem. I think the goalies are to slow and it’s way to easy to score because of that. Every thing else is fine. I like the designs of the jerseys, I like the way the set up Rival Series games, it’s all good. Every thing is awesome! Except... If you play this game a lot, you figure out a couple ways to skate down the ice, deek around and through the defencemen, and score. Even on pro mode. For a mobile hockey game this is Really good. it just has a few kinks in it. But I know it is 2020 now and this came out in 2018. So in 2022, I know it will be better. The graphics could also use a touch up to. One more thing is the goalies. PLEASE oh PLEASE in 2022 make the goalies better and more realistic. they almost give up no rebounds and move really SLOW. In all I hope that it is better in 2022 and that it is a good game and fun to play. ### 3/5 — Good! But... *2019-12-28, version 1.6.3* It’s a really fun hockey game lots of fun! But in the rival series there are only 65 games and all ways been saying new levels coming soon I finished all 65 of them. Also there was a bug I was trying to buy the $5 99 thingy and it just said it failed to get it and I did again and same thing happened. Not because you don’t have enough skill but because your team can’t do crap compared to the other. You can be skating with a defenseman behind you and he poke checks you in an instant where if you poke check someone the whole way down the ice you never get a chance of getting the puck. Also, the other team if in your zone can seemingly just slapshot every time and make a perfect goal. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Rigged so you can’t win !!!! *2023-02-23, version 1.6.4* Don’t waste your time. Level 9 is rigged so you can’t win. In the rivals portion of the game. You press your controls and nothing happens! You can’t hardly get a shot on goal! Always hitting the posts!! Shame on whoever puts this crap out!!! Other team is much faster and always knocks you off the puck. Whoever heard of an icing when past the center line!! Ridiculous!!!!! ### 1/5 — Rigged *2022-02-21, version 1.6.4* The game literally scores on you every shot, but if you dangle and shoot from three feet away you get stopped. And also you get penalties for the dumbest things. I get penalties for stick checking but the game will smash me from behind and nothing is called. Also the game player will be five feet away from me and somehow get the puck from me but I will stick check when I’m on top of the other player and I won’t even effect them. And whenever I go for the check my player will always miss. The other players can also skate right through your whole team with the puck but I don’t even have the option to dangle. And let me know if you’ve ever passed all levels. If you have you’re lying because it’s impossible to pass it. ### 1/5 — Use actual hockey rules *2020-10-03, version 1.6.4* I have to gripe about the lack of knowledge of actual penalties in hockey. In a 3 on 3 situation with a penalty called the penalized team doesn’t go to two skaters it keeps the three and the power play team gets a 4th skater. Also when a team has a four min power play it’s considered as two power plays not score once and it’s done. Actually reading up the rules and making that change would make this game a lot more realistic. ### 1/5 — Don’t waste your money *2019-07-31, version 1.6.3* The gameplay is horrible! The controls don’t work half the time. Some example of the poor gameplay and controls. One of my players which I am not controlling pushes my goalie out of the crease into the corner allowing the other team to score into a wide open net. Occasionally icing will be called when the puck crosses the center red line. Players not being controlled always move away or over skate a loose puck and player being controlled does this as well most of the time. Player being controlled moving down the boards occasionally will not cut to the middle of the ice. Cannot get player standing in front of wide open net to shoot and when button finally registers he shoots it into the corner. If you really feel the need to play this game just stick to the free version, I regret spending the money to upgrade. ### 1/5 — Bad Game *2019-06-30, version 1.6.3* The game is very easy when you first start off, but as you progress, the games become more difficult due to the fact that often you are not in control of your own players. It also seems like the game determines the outcome of the game before you start, as the opposing team will score from anywhere, immediately steal the puck from you, and are way faster than you. Not fun, and is very frustrating. ### 1/5 — Had potential *2019-04-20, version 1.6.3* You get to a certain point where it’s impossible to win, you’ll have an open goal and the player will shoot 10 foot to the right, the other team can steal the puck as soon as you get close to them but you can’t steal it from them if you’re glued to them, the players on your team are nowhere to be found and if you make a pass you usually have to wait for the other player to get back onside because they stay in the neutral zone. ### 1/5 — Rival Series *2019-04-13, version 1.6.3* The game is fun but you can only play three at a time and you have very little control over the players when playing defense. The stick checking is ineffective and no matter where you shoot from on the ice with a defender it always goes over the net. Face offs are also hard and the skating is awful. The penalties are way to sensitive especially because the only way to play defense is to body check. ### 1/5 — Horrible *2019-01-09, version 1.6.0* This game is awful... on pro difficulty in career mode, the computer never misses a poke check and if the computer gets the chance to shoot it will go in 100% of the time. The joystick that moves the direction of your player doesn’t work sometimes. If your goalie ever stops a shot there is no way to control if he freezes the puck or not... overall this games mechanics are absolutely atrocious and I do not recommend downloading. On top of all of these problems with the mechanics all you have access to is the career mode as well as a face off mode where you can play a game for fun but even then you have access to 1 or 2 teams. The only way to gain access to all the modes and teams in the game you have to spend money... NOT ONLY DO YOU HAVE TO BUY TO GAIN ACCESS BUT THERE ARE STILL ADS. This game is horrible... absolutely horrible. ### 1/5 — Fun game, frustratingly bad controls *2018-07-16, version 1.3.3* This game would be amazing, however the controls are very poor and constantly don’t respond. They “joy stick” that controls movement is constantly getting stuck sending your player in the wrong direction and the shooting and passing buttons often require multiple taps to complete the action, but even then they may not respond. I feel bad for anyone who paid any money for the full game. ### 1/5 — Terrible gameplay *2018-07-14, version 1.3.3* Another one of those games that could be great but are just terrible. The gameplay is so difficult once you keep progressing, it makes it virtually impossible to win. Throughout the levels the other teams get better, but they don’t make your team any better. Controls are also awful. The other teams defense is a brick wall compared to your Swiss cheese. Your defenders will literally skate AWAY from the puck while you’re lucky if you can even get passed the blue line let alone even get a shot off. If you’re lucky enough to get a shot off, they either block it or it misses the net by 100 feet. While the other team either scores or hits the post. You can poke check them the whole way down the ice and they’ll never lose the puck, but the other players will be 5 feet from you and you’ll lose the puck.
