Why would anyone pay 25 just to login an app without knowing anything yet?

Never have I witnessed an app this dumb.  Why on earth would I pay $25 for this rewards app?  I’d rather just not get rewards?  Do these people have any idea how rewards programs work?????

Why do i need to pay 25$ to join a restaurant rewards app?!? Just spent $400 at dinner…. Apparently they need more of my money, sad.

Considering the restaurants are high end, this app looks like it was built with a budget of $5. Also after reading the terms, it is a garbage program. The $25 is an annual fee, and you can’t redeem for a partial payment on a check, you have to have sufficient balance to cover the full amount. The lettuce entertain you rewards program blows this out of the water, and is free.
