I have the Hohem mobile plus and it won’t connect to this app at all. When I try to use the Hohem gimbal app it crashes every time when I go to view my picture gallery.  So between the two apps, neither are working properly for me. Puts me off investing in their newer products.

Naturalmente serve un po’ di studio e di pratica ma dopo alcuni tentativi sono riuscito a fare uno streaming video dal vivo con il controllo completo del gimbal Hohem v3 ultra.
Gestione efficace con qualche aspetto di condivisione da perfezionare ma funzionante. AI tracking migliorabile per riprese di partite di pallacanestro, infatti ho preferito fare la ripresa manualmente.

Dear Hohem Support Team,
I am using the Hohem mobile app with an iPhone 6 and experiencing constant background noise in all recorded videos.

I have tested all available audio format options in the app (AAC and Linear PCM / IEEE float), enabled airplane mode, minimized vibrations and wind influence, and adjusted recording conditions. Unfortunately, the noise level remains unchanged.

Could you please advise:

Is this a known limitation of the Hohem app or iPhone 6 hardware?
Are there any hidden or advanced audio settings that may reduce the noise?
Is there a recommended firmware or app version for better audio quality?
Does Hohem officially support external microphones with this setup?
I would appreciate any technical guidance you can provide.

The app works fine plenty of cool features, But When Im creating videos with sound on I can’t use any microphones that connect to my phone and I can’t change the sound input and the app uses the default phone mic, should be a simple fix to add into the app but its a huge let down since I wanna be able to walk around with the ai tracking whilst speaking into a mic

Can we fix the playback when playing music in the background while trying to record during gym sea with clients. It’s an inconvenience when the music shuts off as soon as you open the app to record.

### 2/5 — Alright but doesn’t support all 16 pro functionalities

The app is generally ok and relatively easy to use. 
For me it gets a low score as it doesn’t allow you to use the 16pro capabilities like multiple microphones recordings on video. Additionally when recording video, it only gives 3 zoom settings. That’s a major weakness.

Useless as it is. It reaches a screen to select the object to track, and there is no way to resume normal operation from there. There is no point in releasing a product too fast before it is even ready. Why can’t they keep it simple? Is this just a proof of concept?

### 2/5 — Please Fix “Motion Control”

When I saw YouTube videos on how you could control the Hohem gimbals by physically moving a Bluetooth connected iOS device with this Hohem Joy app I was sold. 

Unfortunately when using this “motion control“ feature the gimbal drifts in one direction or another slowly but steadily, rendering the feature practically useless.

For a year and a half had doubts as to whether it was the app or a problem with my Apple devices. Well… I got another brand of gimbal with a similar feature and it does not drift, so now I know that it’s something to do with Hohem’s implementation of “motion control”. 

If they can fix this, I will change this review to five stars because I like the gimbal otherwise.

Un gimbal tan caro y luego la aplicación no sirve para nada, quien desarrolló esta aberración? Mi abuela crea mejores aplicaciones, prefiero devolver mi gimbal y cambiarlo por otro que tenga mejor soporte por parte de los desarrolladores, esto es un timo y una vergüenza

This is the biggest waste of money. It will not calibrate. With or without a phone. No matter how many times I have checked if it is unlocked in the places. Or balanced correctly or updated. It will not work. I 100 percent do not recommend. Not worth the money. Even technical support sucks. They do not help.

Trying to go live with app have tried going live to 3 different platforms using rtmp and rtmps have also tried using two different phones one using old iOS other using new iOS but still nothing. Both apps are up to date have tried with gimbal and without it acts like it starts the livestream then after about 15 seconds it tells me the livestream has ended with 0.0mb of data uploaded. I have reached out to support they tell me it’s probably an app issue but as of this writing it is still not working.

The 15-second automatic termination occurs because the connection to the live streaming server could not be established. Please ensure that your network connection is normal, that you have clicked 'Start Broadcast' on the streaming platform, and that the Rtmp URL is correctly entered. Some streaming platforms require a stream key (live broadcast key), which is displayed as Live Stream Key in the app. If applicable, it also needs to be entered. If you still cannot start streaming, try pasting the live stream key after the Rtmp URL and retry.

The Hohem app is ok nothing really good but the gimbal itself is trash. For some reason the camera just stopped working and now I can’t track anything with the AI tracker definitely tossing this peace of shi in the trash and going to dji instead. Waste of money

I wanted to give the V3 Ultra a chance, but cannot go over the hideous app. I like to record in 4k 60fps to reduce motion blur. The Hohem Joy app always causes a jitter in the footage. When I reduce to 30fps it works fine. In the native iPhone camera app it works fine, but I do not have all the options. Tracking honestly seems to be hit and miss and when doing low angle shots near the ground it is almost impossible to lock the subject. App is simply not good. Does not feel polished, instead it spams you with lots of ads and upsell options. Unfortunately, doesn’t work for me.

In the app, the gesture control button must be enabled for AI gesture tracking, and object tracking requires selecting the target area. This app is a steaming pile of hot garbage. It asked for every permission under the sun which immediately sketched me out. I have to launch the app at least 3 times for it to even get to the Home Screen. When I connect my gimbal the app will do one of three things. It’ll either freeze right away, connect and just sit there, or connect, launch into the camera and immediately start recording a video. 

I could put up with this but every single time I use the app it becomes completely unresponsive within the first couple minutes, sometimes even right away. It’s also extremely annoying that the app is required to get the full functionality of the gimbal. 

This app isn’t even worth the storage it takes up on my phone. Just extremely disappointing after spending money on this gimbal.

I really enjoy using Hohem Joy! I especially love the Inception mode and the tracking feature. They help me shoot cool and creative videos easily, and also allow me to record my daily life in a more fun and beautiful way. This app makes filming much more enjoyable. Alle Funktionen gegeben. Kopplung klappte sofort. Zoom funktioniert, umschalten von Foto auf Kamera klappt, Joystick funktioniert und der Ton passt auch zum Video. Und die Dateien werden in der Foto App von iOS gespeichert. Von meiner Seite aus alles super 👍🏼
