Like the title said. It would beep randomly and try to reconnect. Sometimes it fails and disconnects entirely. Even if the batteries have a charge or plugged into the wall while in use.

Bringing things into view for a closeup would not focus, and if you did, the auto focus would not refocus when bring the object further.

Would be nice if there could be a blur background filter.

The gimble flips around like a fish, gets limited capacity for smooth movement, and the first time it was charged longer than I could keep an eye on it suddenly doesn’t hold any charge or work very well.

The app is clunky and difficult to navigate. None of the videos has sound. And the FAQ link doesn’t bring to a place where users ask questions, it’s just another video. 

I’ll be returning this gimbal just because the app is garbage.

We are YouTubers so our content is everything.  When we spend a lot of time and money to record a video then find that the audio gets out of sync as the video progresses.  It’s so frustrating, and unreliable.  

We have iPhones and don’t know if it’s a specific setting like 30fps vs 60fps, but now and then our videos audio just get so horribly out of sync trailing the video by a good 2-3 seconds almost.  The longer the video the worse it gets.  iPhone itself records just fine with the native camera app.  So it has to be this gimbal app doing it.  Please fix this and let us know what the issue is or was so we can avoid it!!! Useless otherwise

大事な部分が撮れていなかった。
販売店で買ったが、こんな事になるなんて思いもしない。
決して安くはないジンバル代。
返金して欲しいレベル。

タイトルの通りです。
一度保存した動画はアプリから削除しても容量はずっと確保されたままです。
動画を録画すると数GB容量をとりますが、アプリ上でもその容量を確保するため、写真アプリから削除したり、このアプリから削除しても残り続けます。

アンインストールしないとリセットされないため、一度の旅行の度にアンインストールと再設定の必要があります。

某ジャングル系プライムビデオアプリでDLした動画の容量がずっと残り続けるのと同じ不具合です。

Won’t let me use my isteady x until I do a firmware update, but the firmware update is frozen. 1 out of 5. Would give 0 if possible.

I just bought a gimbal and it said to download this app which I did and I took it to one of my dads performances and I recorded every song all night and then when I came home I noticed only half of the videos I recorded were there and the rest of it didn't seem to save. I spent THE WHOLE NIGHT checking if it was recording and it was and I made sure I pressed the record button every time… I have never been more upset because I was so excited to watch everything I recorded from tonight and I only got a couple videos out of it. Never using this app again. I never write reviews ever but this seriously had me so mad I just had to write one. 

I should have just stuck to my regular camera and recorded on there but i wanted to give the app a try but now I know to never do that again. 

Overall just do not use this app unless you want your videos to not be saved…

Awful updates! My favorite features are no longer working for more than a month now. Gimbal is somewhat useless if you can’t use the features. It crashes, gimbal turned off numerous time and just a huge hawt mess last few updates. Fix this please

Firmware update failed and now it no longer works, and can't find any support on the website or on Google. After calling and emailing the company several times, I received a replacement, but did get another alter of available firmware update, I should not have, but I did try to update it, and I have another dead useless iSteady X, what a waste of time and money.

The app update messed up everything I was used to. First the start recording is smaller and easy to miss on the app. Second and huge problem is when you switch to front facing camera the image stays reversed and when you play it back( didn’t do this before) it is very bad if there is anything written. And also the record button is now so small on the phone with the app open you cannot tell if it is even recording you or not.

The stabilizer itself works fine until your recording with the app and you lose 10 mins worth of good footage due to it crashing, even with it crashing I expect to save my recording I was in the middle of when it happened but of course it didn’t, not only do it crash but you don’t have the regular features as u would on your regular iPhone camera app such as the .5 zoom out mode with your panoramic camera

小学校の音楽会で使用し、15分ほど連続で動画を撮影したが、最後に本体の撮影終了ボタンを押して、動画が保存されると思いきや、「保存に失敗しました」と表示され、撮影データは無かったことになりました。
場所取りから撮影まで頑張って、娘と見返そうと思っていたのに、ありえません。せめて再度保存するか、破棄するか、などの選択肢が一瞬出てくれてもいいと思います。すごく腹立たしいし、とても切ない気持ちになりました。
保存できるかどうか分からないまま大事な撮影なんて出来ない為、二度と使いません。

I just bought the gimbal today for my wife and she immediately fell in love with what the gimbal can do with or without the help of this app. Although this app is really really helpful in learning and operating the gimbal. Taking some cool awesome shots are all possible because of this app. It also gives full manual control to the users which is always a plus. Overall, pretty good experience so far.

The stabilizer doesn't handle automatic calibration very well. The horizontal axis is not flat, but inclined. I can't fix it! Make it possible to manually calibrate to independently adjust all axes. And so there is no sense from the stabilizer, which fills up the horizon and can not fix it. I will be very happy if you fix this error, as I really like the stabilizer and would like to shoot everything exactly. Thank you very much

I have been playing with my newly arrived iSteady X using an iPhone pro 11 and it has been working flawlessly. I am surprised with the number of professional features included in this budget gimbal. I will add comments if I come across any issues, but so far I am really impressed.
